TL;DR Returned defective bearings.Was refunded AND company sent me 3 free sets that worked flawlessly. Will be sticking with Yellow Jacket for a LONG time and encouraging all my friends to do the same. *Before I get into any of this, I just want to mention that this all happened within 4ish days of receiving my first set, so also props for speedy response times. **Another note I thought about after writing this: Even non-dud bearings will be a bit audible freely spinning on their own or even fresh on the wheel, but they quiet down after a while and performance it perfect right out of the box. I first ordered these bearings with spacers and washers in red because I was curious to take the path outside of the standard Bones Reds, which I had been so accustomed to. These run a bit cheaper and the color options are nice, so that was my primary motivation to even defer from Bones. It really all comes down to performance with me though. With my first set, it was lacking. 2 or 3 of the bearings spun without resistance and sound, but the rest were riddled with problems so I sent them immediately back and claimed a refund. I was a few clicks away from ordering a set of Bones when I got an email from NWM, the company that manufactures and selles Yellow Jacket Bearings. They were concerned with the fact that I had returned them and wanted to prove to me that they were indeed quality bearings, so they sent me 3 free sets. Each bearing from each of these sets performs flawlessly as the 2 or 3 in the first pack did. No issues whatsoever. If there's one thing I respect in a company, it's their determination to prove to their consumer base that they are giving them quality products at reasonable prices, which these guys certainly are. As with anything mass produced in the 21st century, there are bound to be a few duds and defects. If the system was designed to be perfect 100% of the time, prices would be 100% more expensive. My hat off to Yellow Jacket for still making sure I got what I needed in order to put my new board together, and then some. Definitely pick up your next set from these guys. Fantastic quality and even if you get extremely small chances of getting duds, these guys have your back and will make sure you know they treat their customers well. These things are awesome. I skated for years, stopped for even more years, and now started up again and needed to find the best bearings I could for a non-astronomical price. However, I was out of the loop and unfamilair with the many, many bearings options. I researched the hell out of them for days and Yellow Jackets hit almost every top list. They aren't super expensive but they perform well. Smooth, fast, and reliable. And they have a cool aesthetic with the bright colors and wasp logo. And, as other reviews have stated, the company is top notch. I had some questions about the bearings and just kind of emailed the company to ask. The owner himself replied and was super friendly and helpful and got me sorted out right away. You can't go wrong with these. I own a Magneto Mini cruiser skateboard and the bearings on there are good, however they did feel a bit slower for my taste. I wanted to achieve higher speeds while skateboarding and a friend of mine who also owns YellowJackets referred them to me. I purchased them and easily replaced the bearings on my board and was astonished on how big a difference they made; the wheels spin for so much longer now and I have been able to go so much faster with them on. Yes I used to skate board maybe 40 years ago but that is long past. Now I need to use a walker and the bearings in it rusted and wore our. I read you could use skate board bearings to fix it and sure enough the these worked great. I did need to add spacer washers. These are very high quality bearings, they seem to be sealed well so they should not rust like the originals. Also I can beat my wife in a race down the hallway. To be honest what I mean is it is very clear these are very smooth bearings. Remember in a walker your hands can feel exactly what is going on at the wheels and unlike the original bearings, even when they were new, this is drastically smoother. Takes a bit of time to get used to how slick they feel, maybe 20 minutes, but I could not be happier. So for skateboard fans all I can say is they look and feel like quality bearings for walker fans buy these, you will need s few washers, rather than the almost double the price ones on amazon that say they are for walkers. ... show more

I cannot upload a picture at this time, I am not home while writing this. I ordered the Yellow Jacket Stingers ABEC 11 bearings for my Chicago Quad Skates. As I was installing them I realized right away that these were a far superior product then the ABEC 3 bearings that came with my skates, I would get bored waiting for these new bearings to stop spinning! Unfortunately with a product like this, perfection is VERY hard to achieve, and as a result one of the bearings did not spin very well. I reached out to Yellow Jacket, and they responded back within 1 business day. There representative was very helpful, and sent me out a replacement bearing, along with some extra bearings to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Me and girlfriend now have a great set of bearings, that have made skating much better. I will tell every skater I know about this company, and how well they treat there customers. ... show more
