The thickness of the each pad is great. I just got these today and placed 4 of them on a dining room chair. I can’t say the adhesive gives me hope that they will stick to the chair legs for very long. But I’m hoping they do. I did apply the correct size, however the edges on a couple of the pads do not want to stick. That worries me. The delivery instructions were actually followed this time, and I am thankful. But the package looks like someone tried to open it before shipping it to me. Update: They work very well with the desk I recently bought. I guess some of them don't have good grip and some do?

I just moved into a new home with hardwood floors and bought this to prevent scratches and dents. Several weeks later, these are still holding up and doing their job! Adhesive backing sticks to furniture with ease and are able to be removed without damaging the surface they were in contact with. Get this variety pack to help remove the guessing game of which pads you'll need. I used the larger squares on my couches, smaller squares on end tables, and the circular small pads were perfect for chairs. Only negative I have was peeling some of the pads off of their sheets would tear the sheet making it annoying to get access to the adhesive part. Just take your time removing them and it shouldn't be a problem.

I ordered Brown and Cream colors but I got Black and Cream. No problem as the black felt seems to dissappear on my chair's feet. The wide selection of sizes work great. They look much better than the ones I was using that are red felt with the clear plastic holders that fit around the feet. Someone complained that they are not very thick but having used thick ones in the past I think the thin ones look better.

Most of these pads are only the thickness of 2 nickels stacked together, some are only 1.5 thickness of nickels. They are the thickness of pads that need replacing. The cost is really low, so I guess doubling up might work.
