I remember trying to make invisible ink as a child using lemon juice and being sorely disappointed in the results. I would have loved these as a kid! I like them now, for that matter. If they aren't invisible immediately after writing, they dry and disappear quickly. There is no trace of anything written. The light works and reveals what's written clearly. Already this is a huge hit for my grandson and soon to be step granddaughter. they divided the pack up and have been racing around hiding secret messages all over the house this is definitely a big hit I had not seen something like this before so I was not sure how the kidlets would like it as they never mentioned anything like this but i am so so glad that i decided to get it for them as it has already brought hours of entertainment and good play without fighting between the two and it only just came this morning!! will definitely be looking for more things like this for their activities

These are so much fun. I remember similar things when I was a kid. These are great for a treasure box at school or party favors for a kids party. Or adults ;) The cool thing about these pens is you can use them on alternative materials such as t shirts or posters or walls. you can't see the ink so it doesn't ruin anything you write on. haha. Invisible ink is so much fun--I wish they would have had something like this when I was a kid. I got another set of these before Halloween and they were one of the options the kids could pick from when they came trick or treating. The leftover ones I put in my prize box that I let my reading group kids pick from at the end of the session and there were a couple of 4th graders that both wanted one and there was only one left. So I picked up this set because I know the kids will love them. I tested a couple of them from this group and they work great!

These work great! I was expecting them to be very cheap quality like most kids party favors, but I am impressed with how nice these are. I kind of want to keep them for myself! This product has been a huge hit with my kids. They keep drawing all over themselves and shining the light on eachother. Which is fine by me, because you really can't see the ink until you shine the black light on it.
