I got these for my 3 year old, thinking she'd love them, but she had a little trouble figuring out how to "build" the flowers. HOWEVER, my 6 year old daughter LOVED them. She and I had a lot of fun sitting in the floor and making combinations of flowers. A really cool toy for a child who likes flowers or like mine, like any "lego" type building toy.
