I attached the ribbons to each end and tied them together in the back, then tucked the excess ribbon under the tie. The gold wire clings to my hair a little, which is ideal imo. It embedded for a truly ethereal look and didn’t move after 6 hours at a holiday party!

I bought this and a few other headpieces as a potential accessory for my wedding and I immediately returned this one after briefly trying it on. The design was beautiful and delicate and the wire was easily manipulated. I gently placed it on top of my low bun and it looked gorgeous, but as soon as I pulled it off, all the leaves latched on to my hair and it was painful to remove. I could not imagine how much more it would have hurt if my hair was curled and the headpiece was actually entwined in it. If you don’t have a tender head, I would definitely try it, but it may take a bit to untangle. If you are tendered headed, good luck!
