This is a great starter saxophone. Has all the elements you need to get started. I have no idea how to play a saxophone but I’ve always wanted to learn how to play. Good student saxophone. It's not going to break the bank and seems durable. I cant really gauge the sound because my kid is still learning but so far they enjoy it. It came really well packaged and the case is a nice add on.
