I have been working on paint by number projects for a few months now, and this is the sixth one that I've gotten. My only complaint is that it ships folded, so it leaves small dense and creases in the canvas at first, so I stretched it out on my easel using masking tape. I would also suggest investing a few dollars into an extremely narrow and tiny paintbrush, as the ones that come with the kit are not quite as tiny as you need them to be. There is a lot of detail in this painting, so it is important to have a sharp pointed tip on your brush. ... show more

This paint-by-number kit is typical of most others. The brushes are the same low-quality, the paint's the same, and the canvas is the same, so it's not a bad kit. I think the fruit stand subject matter is pretty unique compared to all the florals and landscapes you find in so many other kits. The design is printed clearly on the canvas. The canvas does come in a squished roll, so be prepared to do some flattening. I do recommend getting at least one small detail brush. This paint-by-number kit contains all that is necessary to create a painting that you will want to hang in your kitchen. It has more colors than a typical paint-by-number kit too. I do wish that a larger example photo was included. Also, I don’t see the point of including hanging hardware when the canvas is unframed. I’m going to put it in a frame when it is completed so the frame will have its own hardware. Still, this is one of the nicer designs so it’s well worth its price. ... show more
