I was intrigued by the description of this "Inappropriate Luxury Collection" fragrance oil, envisioning a sophisticated and exotic wood and spice blend. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of my expectations. Instead of a captivating and elegant aroma, I found the scent to be overwhelmingly strong and, frankly, unpleasant. The initial notes were harsh and medicinal, almost like a cough syrup. While the dry down did reveal some warmer, spicier undertones, they were quickly overshadowed by an overpowering, almost chemical-like scent that lingered for far too long. I tried using it in both a diffuser and an oil burner, and the results were the same – an intense and cloying aroma that filled the room and gave me a headache. Perhaps it's just a matter of personal preference, but this fragrance oil was far too strong and unbalanced for my taste. It certainly didn't add any "bold elegance" to my space; instead, it created an overwhelming and uncomfortable atmosphere. If you're sensitive to strong scents, I would definitely steer clear of this one.
