Just to clarify, there is No suction cups or suction capability on this product but it does stand somewhat firm on the kitchen counter. There are only two slots/spaces for storing your cutting boards. If you used the big, heavy, thick (half inch thick) cutting board this item will hold a total of two. If you used the thin 1-2mm thick cutting boards it can hold 2 in each slot, a total of 4 thin cutting boards in both slots. The front has a slot that if you are creative you can use it to store your knives...as shown in my picture. I would not buy this again. ... show more

I love Yamazaki products and I own many of them. Our home is small, so I thought this would be perfect. It isn’t. My cutting boards are small and they fit well, but the knife section is flawed. Neat little knife and cutting board holder. It definitely needs something underneath it. If you wash your knives and boards and don’t dry it well expect puddles. Overall great space saving rack.

The slots are very narrow, about an inch slots for cutting boards, definitely not wide enough for butcher block. The knife slots are also very narrow on the sides.
