This desk is very sturdy and heavy when assembled, everything went together with no issues, the instructions are great and easy to follow. It did however take my husband and my son three and a half hours of steady non stop work putting it together. My husband is a 68 year old carpenter who has been a carpenter all his life, my son is 34 and also a carpenter who currently works in a high end cabinet shop so that should give you the idea of the amount of time you will need to set aside to complete the build of this desk, but it was totally worth it in my opinion even though all I did was watch. I have it in the corner of my small bedroom and am using it as my makeup table and I love everything it about it! I really like the outlet that you attach to the side! I have my 5x makeup mirror plugged into one outlet and my hairdryer in the other one. I like the shelves on the bottom because I keep my hairdryer plugged in and store it on one of the shelves among some other things. I put some pretty floral peel and stick wallpaper on the top just to protect the top of it from makeup mess that I tend to make. Even though it’s time consuming to put together everything lined up perfectly, all the screw holes were on point and it came with everything you need to assemble it. This corner desk is so cute and functional! With its built-in power supply it makes the perfect vanity. It was so easy to put together a monkey could do it. All parts were nicely pre-drilled where needed and aligned correctly. Center drawer is good sized. It’s everything we wanted it to be! My only advice is to get out your tape measure and get an idea of what it will look like in your space. It would cost triple at a furniture store fully assembled. Very solid materials, as compared to many other flat pack furniture offerings. The desk is surprisingly heavy. Good instructions and assembles together fairly quickly. Lower shelf and desk drawers are nice extras. Optional power on side is useful (similar units are available without the power). Good value. (I swapped the drawer pull to match other furniture in the room.) The only design modification I’d recommend is to permit the power module on either side.
