For full time RV living, we needed an office space and this table perfectly meets this need. There is plenty of storage space for all our office supplies like laptop, charging cords, stapler, etc. The lift mechanism is smooth and easy to operate; assembly was very straightforward using an online tutorial plus instructions- took about 90 min. It's lightweight and easy to slide out of the way when we need to use the couch as a guest bed, yet well balanced and sturdy for using as a table, even in the uplifted position. In this position, there is enough space under the bottom shelf for your feet so it feels you are sitting at an office desk. Pros: super cute, love the extra storage, baskets are useful, pretty easy to assemble but would recommend using a drill Cons: you have to lift the lid on both sides, screw holes aren't drilled out fully so assembling using a screwdriver is more work, divider piece on the bottom would not go in so I went without and it's still super cute ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this coffee table I was able to put all but the top on by myself I had to have my husband hold the top so I could screw it on but it was very easy to assemble I do recommend having a good sturdy wrench on hand because the one sent is fairly flimsy and would bend on me. It’s crazy you can charge $86 for some wood and metal. If it were put together it’d be worth that. I spent 5.5 hours putting this together which is probably why I’m mad. I will say it’s pretty clear on what to do, although I messed up twice because the instructions kept flipping the table around. It takes a bit of endurance (I won’t say strength because I’m really not that strong) for 2 different steps. It does say it takes 2 people but if you really want to you could build it by yourself (may be painful) And Im really really sore from this. I will hand it to them that the screw holes were aligned, which has been off with other Amazon purchases I had. It’s also a good size. The other ones on Amazon I saw were less tall. It’s also as long as a monopoly board (so it’s good for playing games with friends). I’d say if you can, buy a complete built one at a local store. ... show more
