This review is for the XVXV readers in a 2-pack. I ordered black and faux tortoiseshell with a 1.75 magnification power (diopter), and I'm very pleased with the two pairs I received. I usually buy whatever brand is on sale in a multipack, for around a dollar a pair, because unlike sunglasses, reading glasses have never been an item I paid much attention to or splurged on. I just assumed they were all pretty much the same, but after trying this slightly higher-end set, I may have to revise my thinking about that. Not only were the XVXV readers packaged nicely, with an attractive outer box, clear plastic resealable bags, protective arm sleeves and satin carrying pouches, their overall construction just FEELS nice. The lenses are very clear and the frames feel weighty and solid. The arms on these glasses open and close smoothly, and I was pleased to find that they fit my temples snugly, because many of my other unisex pairs are prone to sliding around. There's a term "big-head-friendly" that's sometimes used for wigs, hats, and eyewear, and in my opinion these readers are not BHF. I think the XVXV glasses are a good value, and well-made. Their design is gender-neutral, maybe leaning a bit more masculine, but their sizing seems better suited to a female head, or at least a small to medium head. As for the UV protection and blue-light blocking properties, I haven't noticed much in that regard, but maybe it's subtle and I'm just unaware of it.

This set comes with two blue light blocking glasses as well as two black, cloth cases for storage. The lenses I ordered have an optional 1+ reading magnification. The style of the glasses is very cute. One has a black frame and one a brown tortoise shell one. Both have rectangular shaped lenses that are not very big. Normally I prefer bigger glasses, but these look quite stylish and attractive. The cloth storage is a nice addition. Be aware it is soft and so will protect from scratches but not from breaking if too much pressure is applied. The fit is very good because these glasses have a comfortable spring which allows for a lot of sizes without being too loose and without pushing too hard on a person's head. My head is pretty big and they feel and fit great. I'm not sure how well the blue blocking works but it seems like it is doing something. The magnification is tricky for me as I've never found any reading glasses that are comfortable for me; but I think that's just me. Overall, I think these are wonderful, good quality and seem like they will last a long time.

These readers are a great value and are fashionable. I carry readers around for both of us to use so it was nice to get two pairs. I prefer the the half invisible frames, but I feel that both look better on my husband. But they are just readers so they do the trick. Blue light blocking is nice for reading on my tablet.

My husband absolutely loves these reading glasses. I tried to take more pictures, but he was wearing the other pair and refused to take them off—guess that says enough. The fit is lightweight and comfortable, and he likes that they don’t slide down his nose while he’s reading or scrolling on his phone. The best part is getting two pairs in one pack, so he can keep one upstairs and one downstairs for when he’s watching TV or checking messages. They look stylish without being flashy, and the square frames give them a clean, modern look that works for both men and women. The blue light blocking really does seem to help reduce eye strain in the evenings. For the price and quality, this is a solid 5-star set that we’ll definitely buy again.

This pair of reading glasses are made of good material with nice lenses and spring hinges. They came with little fabric storage bags which makes them easy to store and carry in the bag. I got the +2.50 number and it seems to work fine for my Dad. Helps him on the computer and he said that they are comfortable to wear too.

I got these for my husband because he is always on the lookout for a good pair of reading glasses. He needs them constantly, so they are often misplaced, lost, or even end up broken. These fit him well and he likes the way they look and feel. The magnification is exactly right and they are clear, not prone to the blur he often gets with cheap reading glasses.

I’m good at losing or damaging reading glasses, so I buy them often. I usually use the really inexpensive ones from the dollar store, and they work fine. But I have to say, these XVXV brand are a definite couple of steps up from the inexpensive ones. The frames on these have a quality look and feel, and the temples feel solid without any looseness or play. The temples on these also pivot smoothly and they are spring loaded, so they will snap into the open or closed position. Plus, the lenses on these are nice and clear and distortion free. These are definitely worth paying a bit more for than the dollar store glasses. These are also blue light blocking, so they should educe eye strain when working in front of a computer display My eyes range from needing a 3.0 reader for up close reading, down to a 1.0 lens for distant viewing. So, I ordered these 1.0 readers to serve as my distance glasses. They work great, and I can add some clip-on sunglasses to use them as low cost prescription sunglasses too. These are very good readers at a very good price – definitely recommended.

In a world where you need reading glasses but constantly lose them or break them, you can never have enough laying around, but they can get expensive. This is a great set of reading glasses for a great price. Not the highest quality in the world but they get the job done and inexpensively. They come with a cloth and string bag, they look nice as well. Seem to be well made, only time will tell if the hinges break easily.
