These water socks are fabulous. They are thick but easy to put on. They keep the sand out of my feet or socks. They are snug but not tight and don’t leave marks. I have muscular calves and even normal socks cut into me. These do not. I wear just them in the fall and in the winter put them over socks and wear shoes. My feet are rarely cold. Lovvvvvve these. Was looking for something comfy and easy to use for simple gardening days. And these are it. It’s amazing. Def waterproof. Thickness is there with nonslip grips and you do not feel walking on grass or branches. It’s almost like shoes on. Fit def to size.

So far they are working well. Due to having constantly cold feet in winter I purchased these to try and keep my feet warm thinking the neoprene would help as I know neoprene can get hot. I put them on with a pair of thin socks under them to avoid feet sweating and getting clammy or blistered. As of right now I am pleased. While my toes are still a tiny bit chilled it is nothing like the freezing toes I usually have due to Raynaud's syndrome. I plan on purchasing additional pairs. They appear to be made quite well , the seams appear strong and the size small fit well over my size 5-6 foot. The bottom is NOT non slip so when wearing I put on slippers to avoid slipping on the floor. They stretched enough at the top to make them easy to get on and fit snuggly without any extra toe length or heel bunch. I would recommend. ... show more

Needed them an hour after arriving. Dawning these and wetsuit, went into 40 degree flood water to retrieve some neighbor's things that were floating away as rising waters from snow melt and rains surprised. Water socks kept the feet warm enough and protected the bottoms of the feet from rocks etc. Appreciate the top straps to slow water influx. Got these for extra cold (or hot) beach vball days, and they’re awesome. They stay on well, I still have pretty good feel in the sand with them, and since they seal so well, no sand after! I don’t wear sand socks much, but i recommend these to anyone who needs them!

    • Irritating stitch

I tried them once at home. They're a bit too tight. I wear size 11 shoes. According to their chart I ordered XL size. It should be half a size larger. However, it's not the main issue. The main problem is the internal stitch in the right sock in the area of the big toe. The stich is quite irritating. It presses against my toe and makes it very uncomfortable. Strangely enough, the left sock doesn't have this issue. It looks similar to the left one but the shape is a bit different. If they were just a bit less tight I guess it wouldn't be a problem. I'm afraid to return and replace because who knows how bigger 2XL is and if another pair won't have this issue. Maybe I should try to replace them with 2XL. ... show more
