I have a fairly uncoordinated 11 year old and he loves this hoverboard. It is his second one and he always has fun on them. He was able to pick it up really quickly which surprised me because the first time I stepped on it I thought it was a deathtrap. This is a pretty good one to learn on. It is very well balanced and not super duper sensitive. The only real minus is that it is extremely heavy and bulky compared to other models. This hoverboard is beefy and bigger than the standard ones. The Bluetooth feature is pretty cool. We ordered two in May, and one was received and was DOA. Dealt with the seller and after some back and forth (seller is shipping from Canada, I am in USA), got an exchanged item to replace the non-working item. The other hoverboard that was originally working now only turns right and not left. It is not yet 3 months old so we are extremely disappointed in the longevity of the hoverboard considering the price point. These would be considered “gently used” as they were literally driven in circles on our concrete driveway. Because I am at 3 months out, Amazon will not let me contact the seller directly, and intercepts contact with the Amazon customer service bot. Because of our experience, I would not recommend to purchase these. If you do decide to purchase, I’d highly suggest also purchasing the Amazon extended warranty. ... show more

    • Barely moves on grass yard
Great on pavement but on other terrain it is not very good. 12 year old grandson tried using it on rougher ground and grass but it doesn’t work. I have to say for the price it’s not worth it. I should’ve spent a little more for one that will actually move on a surface other than pavement. Very disappointed. I’m thinking about returning it because the claims are not true. ... show more

I ordered this hoverboard for my grandson, it just died! Three days after the return was eligible! I am so upset, my grandson loved it and even spent his own money for accessories. He's only 10 years old!😢😢
