I have a 6 ft x 8 ft piece of very high quality artificial turf grass that I got at Costco for $79 about a year ago that is phenomenal, very realistic looking and doesn't budge even when it's super windy. I put this new artificial grass right next to it and it's clearly much thinner and more lightweight than the $79 Costco one, and as soon as the wind blows, this new one gets blown all out of position while the heavier Duty thicker Costco one has never budged even in the strongest winds. I think for $120 i this much thinner lighter weight one is overpriced. It isn't nearly as thick or realistic looking as the Costco one but that said, this new one is however much better than another one that I got on Amazon that cost $80 and is more like a very thin green matt. In the photo, the one closest to the steps is the $79 Costco one, the one further away but also in front of the steps is this one that I'm reviewing now that cost $120 and the one to the left of this one, one that is more of a bluish green and much thinner is the $80 one. They both get blown around in the wind without heavy weights on the corners, and this one even though it had weights on the corner still got blown out of place. That said it's a decent quality artificial grass mat but it's not going to fool anyone to thinking that it's real grass even from a distance. And the much thinner one next to it is the same thickness as the $20 dark gray mats that I got at Costco which do blow around a little bit but not nearly as much as these two artificial grass mats. I think if this were more in the 820 to $90 price range it would be an okay value, but it's definitely overpriced at $120.

This patch of fake grass is actually really good looking for being something your dog is supposed to potty on. We have a yard so my dog doesn't actually use this for that purpose; instead, it's used as a nice place to set my daughter's playhouse on. My dog lays on the "grass" in front of it most of the day and it doesn't get too hot, even in the California sunshine. It's cushier than the old astroturf rug we had before and looks a ton better. When it gets dirty from too much mud kitchen play, it hoses off super easily so I'm sure it'd be great if you're using it for its intended potty purposes. The edges don't unravel and it hasn't done much noticeable shedding beyond the expected few blades when we first unpacked it. I'm super happy with it and would definitely buy it again.
