Before I started the job of putting down new contact paper in the shelves of my kitchen cabinets, I decided to first try it out on our old microwave. It's old and is no longer white like it used to be. The top of it is particularly a pain to keep clean and dust free. So I thought it would look better covered in this, plus I get a chance to use it and see how it goes. Really I only had to cut about 4 inches of it to fit perfectly. The scissors went right through it like butter. Then, I peeled the back off of it and used a ruler to help smooth it out as I put it down. I think it turned out looking really good and definitely better than it was!! So, since it wasn't any trouble for me to do the top of my microwave, I figure it will be just as simple to do the cabinets. I especially love the classic colors of this!! It not only goes with everything, but gives your kitchen a little pop of color whenever you open a cabinet! Course, I've always loved black and white. We only have 5 cabinets with 2 side-by-side doors, so I hope it will be enough for all of it. If not, I will happily buy more. I definitely recommend this if you're interested in giving your kitchen a little bit of zing with some new color. May sound silly, but it helps. This is good contact paper too. I've spilled stuff on the top of the microwave 3 times and it's never pulled up on the sides or anything. ... show more

THIS CONTACT PAPER IS SO FRAGILE. IT TENDS TO RIP VERY EASILY. IF I NEEDED TO PURCHASE MORE, UNFORTUNATELY, I WOULD NOT CHOOSE THIS BRAND. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU WANT A QUALITY OUT COME.
