If you're on the fence, get this anyway, it won't break your bank. It's one of those purchases you didn't think you'd use, but once you've had it, you can't go without. I'm not huge on taking pictures, but that's probably because I never took great pics prior to this, anyway. Lighting really is everything. Not every pic needs a filter either, maybe just a little phone accessory to make it a photoshoot lol. Love this product, only downfall is the on and off button. It's easy access so the light might turn on without you knowing and the battery will run out. Other than that amazing portable ring light, especially for the price.

My phone case is a bit too thick for the light to fit comfortablely but perfect for taking pictures in low light. Needed for Cosmetology school to aid in picture taking in lower lighting and it works great!

    • A handy light... if you understand its limitations because it's not all that bright.
The media could not be loaded. This style of light is nice because it fits in my pocket. And, when I do slap it on my phone, it gives off a large, soft, if not excessively bright, light when I need it. In particular, it's great for taking pictures of food at restaurants for yelp reviews. It's a great way to remove some shadows and make any subject that's not more than a foot or so away pop. While it's a good thought that it provides different light colors unless you understand how to set the white balance on your phone, the low output from this light renders that feature is worthless. A problem, for me, with this light is the jaws only open a little more than 1/2" which means it's a tight fit when my phone is in its Vena vCommute Wallet Case , which it always is because it's a wonderful case. While this light is OK, I prefer my Selfie Ring Light . It is 4 times brighter (I measured it with a light meter, and the jaws open over 1" wide making it more suitable for more situations. ... show more

I've had this product for about a year. I store it carefully in its box. I've used it maybe 2 or 3 times. I wanted to use it more but the brightness goes down as soon as a few minutes after turning it on - it does nothing. Now, when I tried to charge it, it won't charge at all. Can't even turn it on anymore. No clue as to why a carefully taken care of product, hardly used, is already useless. I'd like my money back or a replacement. ... show more
