My baby is 3 months old and we use this thing everyday. It’s honestly been a life saver for breastfeeding. And to be able to just reach over and feel the baby for reassurance. You know, the are you still breathing checks we all notoriously do in the beginning. Great value and quality for the price. As long as you use the straps to attach it to the bed I feel it’s pretty safe. It does have rocking bars on the bottom that fold in so you can either use it with or without them. Has lots of storage space underneath and on the diaper caddy that came with it. Also the baby mobile it came with keeps my baby entertained in the mornings when I’m still getting my head wrapped around things.you will have to keep winding it up though. ... show more

My baby doesn't really sleep in it but I guess it's one of those things that are nice to have. Taking it apart and putting it together is kind of a hassle but not horrible. More like a bit of a learning curve if you don't have much experience with pack and plays. The color/pattern around the rim is more of a gray off white so it apways looks dirty or dingey. The co sleep function does work well. I like the side storage for diapers etc which is really handy. The changing pad/table is okay. You just have to have a place to put it when you're using the play pen or co sleeper. I still haven't used the rocking function but I'm guessing it works like everything else. The spinning stars with the music box is nice. Cute little song that my baby enjoys listening to. I really appreciate the zipper side on the play pen! When my oldest was a toddler I cut one of the mesh sides out so she could still have a fun little cave without feeling closed in. The zipper makes that possible without damaging the play pen so you can still use it to contain them if needed. ... show more

Update: This continues to work great! There is an instructional video online if you google this pack n play which will walk you step-by-step through how to set it up. It’s important you follow the video otherwise it will not click into place. The bottom bars go in after you click the sides up and press the middle down. It looks like it will work well for our needs! Can’t beat the price. It’s sturdy. Note: The instruction manual was not the most intuitive at certain parts. Recommend looking at the 3D image - that helped us understand how to properly put the bars under the bed. We spent about 35-40 min setting it up. Looking forward to using it soon! ... show more

Just received this pack n play today. Literally took me less than 5 mins to put up. Click the long arms in place first, then the short arms and push the bottom down, WAA-LAA! Simple as that. I had a graco pack n play with my first son and honestly for the price it wasn’t anything special, this allows for the side to come down for the bedside access which my graco did not. I also purchased a mini crib mattress separately to place in it as we all know the pad these things come with are hard as a rock. The mini mattress fits perfectly with no gaps and the height of the “bedside bassinet” is absolutely perfect for beside the couch/bed. We wont be using it for another month or so as I’m not due until May 9th, but I’m super excited to use this and already am in love with it despite what others have posted. ... show more
