First, the manual is printed in English on the front half and Chinese on the second half, but I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. Each language is 25 pages. If you have already had a drone then most of the details are straight forward. We had this one up and running in 30 minutes because I wanted to pre-test the controller buttons and make sure the software connected and so on so that everything works before flying. The drone does not need to use the obstacle avoidance mounted but it is nice to have when flying in mode 2. It will keep the drone far enough away from trees and most buildings. If you practice or pre map out a flight plan all should be okay and your fly time will be a lot of fun. My only gripe is that the drone kit did not come with a 2 port fast charger or a dual cable as these are optional to order. It came with one USB cable for one battery. Overall the kit is pretty nice and has a decent carrying case that has one large zipper pocket inside and the same on the outside for more blades, USB charger, longer cables, your phone, and more. If you remove the 2 battery boxes, there is probably enough room for one more. Each battery last about 28 minutes if you’re not flying in high winds. Return to home works accurate with mode 2 and GPS enabled. If you buy a USB charger get one with more watts and amps and your drone batteries charge up much faster. Remote not working as it should. Can't contact the company because there is no contact for them in any of the manuals. Hoping Amazon can help get this resolved. At least I can depend on them. I would like to order some parts, still no wat ro contact the company.

This is a nice drone that is easy to setup and get in the air. If this is your first drone you can be flying in an hour or so. This drone flies great but I do not trust obstacle avoidance although a beginner will find it handy but use your own judgement over the obstacle avoidance. The best feature and one that adds additional cost is the GPS. This feature is really handy and if you are new to drone flying you will want it. This is a great drone has radar sensors which prevent you from crashing into things not really that reliant on it but good feature to have not a beginner's product does seem like propellers would do damage if they hit you so be careful definitely worth the purchase
