    • Great Bucket
I am pretty happy with the Xifando Collapsible Bucket (12L/3.2 Gallon-Mop Bucket with Handle). I needed a larger bucket to expand the coir that I use in my deck garden. I've discovered that coir is a lot lighter to use for potting my vegetables. I do have to add the fertilizer, but I do that anyway, so why not save my back? Coir is very light even when expanded. It does take a lot of space, however, so this 12 Liter bucket will be perfect. I can place a few cubes of coir in it, add some water, and give it time to absorb it. When I am finished with the potting, I can collapse the bucket and store it until I need it again. Even when collapsed, it can hold a few items! The only problem I have encountered is collapsing the bucket. It takes two strong hands to properly position the bucket so it folds correctly. The more I used it, the easier it became, but you do need to be prepared to "practice" with it a few times. I would guess that it will hold about eight to ten pounds and my coir doesn't weigh that much. One end of the bucket has a lip for pouring if you are using it for water or another liquid. I'm happy and I love the storage convenience. I will be purchasing another one so I do recommend it!! ... show more

I am so pleased with this bucket. I ordered it to use with our motorhome, where space is definitely tight. This bucket's ability to collapse means that we can store it in an outside bin or small cabinet, then expand it when needed. It also has a nice, sturdy handle. Overall, this is an ideal piece of equipment for camping or other outdoor activities, and might make a good, practical gift for your favorite camper or outdoorsperson. I got this bucket for multiple uses e.g., camping, fishing, etc. It's a decent collapsible bucket however, one gripe I have is that when I try to push it down the sides snap on the bottom piece as you can see from my picture. In my humble opinion, it may wear out quicker than I had hoped. I am thinking about building out my camper and I am also thinking about making a place for this bucket to wash my dishes in too. I like how convenient this bucket is to pack and take camping. I was a little concerned about the handle, but so far it holds up to 8-pounds of weight without issues. I tested it with 14-pounds of weight, but the base of the handle made a few popping noises and sounded like it might break. I didn't deduct rating for this since the intended use is for 3-gallons of liquid, which is around 8 pounds, and so far the handle is managing that weight. I'll also mention that collapsing and unfolding the bucket requires two hands and was a little bit of a struggle at first, but it's easier now that I've used it several times. I am not sure what’s different about the material of this bucket versus other plastic buckets, but this one gets really static-y super fast. Any little piece of dust or hair nearby has gravitated and stuck to the white parts of this bucket. Assuming you’re not going to be using this bucket for anything decorative or sterile, it shouldn’t matter too much. I will be using this for bringing berries inside from my garden, which I assume will stain the plastic, so it’s not a big deal if it looks a little messy. However, it can also be used for other purposes like carrying wet rags when cleaning your car, having a picnic, storing items in a closet, etc. I appreciate that the silicon gray area collapses down and the handle folds completely down so I can save space in my mud room when I’m not actively using the bucket. ... show more
