This shirt is lightweight but not see through and very soft. The color is a very pretty dark maroon with kind of a heather grey filter. Great to wear alone in the fall and layer under a vest or shawl in the winter. I am in between a medium and a large. I could have gotten by with a medium but the large was just enough bigger that it was a touch more flattering at my stomach and sleeve length without being sloppy. Great fit for tucking in or wearing flat.

I think this may be one of my least favorite shirt purchases- it is stiff, not soft at all. the fibers are rough, and so it made it feel hot. While it may not run small, if you have a bust, the one I got didn't run large. I usually wear a L or XL and bought this in L and it was so tight through chest and shoulders, and because it's not a soft stretchy shirt, it just pulled. It is shaped like a square and it's sort of too long to be cute, too short for people looking for a tunic (I'm not young, but this just looked old lady to me). I know, it's just a shirt, but my skin is still feeling how scratchy it felt. Was hoping for something to wear to sometimes stretch/workout, etc. even for the price, nope...
