These aren't completely crunchy, but actually seems to be a little chewy once you get it in your mouth. I was expecting a very tart and flavorful taste but it was kind of faint. It still tasted OK but I was expecting more flavor. Maybe the apples I got weren't completely ready to be freeze-dried? It says no added sugar, which was good. Very healthy snack.

This 2 pack of 100% natural freeze dried apples from China is not at all what I expected in a freeze dried fruit. They are only slightly soft but mostly crunchy with delicious apple flavor, not at all light and airy like others I have eaten. The apples are cored and sliced in rounds to freeze dry. As expected, some of the rounds got broken in transit. Each resealable bag weighs 3.17oz. but you get quite a lot more apples than you would expect since they don’t weigh much after freeze drying.

I really dislike the texture of these freeze-dried Fuji apples. They aren't fully crunchy, and they turn chewy in my mouth. The flavor, however, is all apple with the expected sweet-tart flavor of Fuji apples. The slices are thicker than you'd get with non-freeze-dried apple crisps.
