Really happy with these, very easy to install. Don't mind the gentleman's comment that said there is no instructions, there is and they are very easy to figure out which side is left or right. I really like these pegs. I've always had the short arm ones in the past. You know, the kind that just clamp directly to your crash bars and just come out Straight sideways from the bar. Everything about these are 10x better. But I do have some complaints. 1. I'm a pretty smart guy and have a pretty good grasp of mechanical engineering. I build a lot of my own things, work on all my own cars. Have restored a few cars even. Rebuilt engines. I have $1000's in tools. But these things confounded me till I just simply googled "Long arm highway pegs" and looked at pages and pages of pictures of how these were supposed to be mounted on others bikes. They are almost TOO adaptable. Some instructions with a little guidance might be nice. These come with nothing. 2. The "rubber" pads that come with it to go under where it clamps onto the crash bars are too thin. It comes with 4. Using two (one pad per side) I couldn't get it tight enough by normal means to get a good clamp on the bar. Using two per side (all 4), and the gap was far too large, just ugly. This is on stock Harley crash bars. I ended up having to use a 18" breaker bar to get this tight enough to hold with just one pad per side. And I started stripping out the heads of the bolts to do it. If I had to do it over again, I'd have rigged something up to get a good clamp without just about destroying the bolt. But now that they ARE mounted, I'm happy as can be with them. I have them positioned so I can use them to extend my foot out from my floorboards to many different degrees, or just put all my foot on them. And with the zillion different ways you can make these angle, I have them angled in a bit so my foot doesn't try to slip off of them like most others I've had in the past. The pad thickness issue above aside, these are the best peg going as far as I'm concerned.

UPDATE on replacement. Quick shipping on the replacement order, but I ran into the same problem with the clamp not tightening. If I’m doing something wrong, then add some instructions, but the clamp didn’t work for me twice. ============== I thought this was the same model/manufacturer as the clamps I replaced. They looked good out of the box, but there are no instructions. I figured it out, then the clamp was stripped and I couldn’t tighten to hold. I understand an occasional manufacturing defect, especially at this price, but the fact I wasted time to find it defective was disappointing.

2007 Yamaha V Star 1300 with Lindby Unibar. Bought these as an upgrade from the cheaper ones that came on the old crashbar. I changed to the better bars after a lowside and these are definitely more comfortable. Instead of having your legs locked at the knees reaching for the pegs, its more relaxed, bent at the knees comfort for the ride. Easier on the back for bumps and stability. They are straight forward to install, make sure to have a rachet and metric Allen socket for ideal installation. Some assembly is required, it comes in individually wrapped parts to keep them from getting scuffed and scratched. But once put together, it's rubber in clamp, clamp around bars, pin with bolt, adjust left to right, adjust up and down, tighten the absolute crap out of them. I checked the instructions several times for a torque spec and didn't see one, but if there is ANY slack in it, they'll move with any weight on them. Also, I measured my in and out from my motor mounts to made sure they were evenly spaced. They can interfere with you controls if not spaced correctly. But, once installed and set, they look nice below my Kuryakyn ISO grips. Only complaint is that it's all chrome except for one part and that's the flat spring on the peg that keeps it sprug down. It's made of steel and rusts immediately. Since it's a moving part, painting doesn't help. It should be stainless steel or aluminum.
