Immediately out of the box I noticed this was poorly constructed- the tines were not evenly spaced and the head was attached lopsided. Still, it had nice heft to it so I figured I’d give it a try anyway. On the very first use one of the times broke off. Complete junk.

This is truly the most disappointing item ever from Amazon! Total junk! I have many gardening tools and none ever arrived as shoddily made as this. The soft metal bends back upon use at the point where it comes out of the wooden handle (of which there is nothing ergonomic). You can easily bend it back to straighten but it bends back again before you know it. And repeatedly doing so will naturally break it at that point (I’m professional metalworker). It is so soft, the fork tines also bend outward into each other. And it cannot be returned once used. Beware! ... show more

Impressed and surprised by the high quality! It’s not to short and not to long. Just the right size. I think even ‘Goldie Locks’ would be satisfied. You can feel the spring in the spring steel which just adds comfort to using it.
