I have used a number of these in home and RV low voltage electrical systems. Easy to mount and the connections are simple to make. The best part, for me, is the fact that the little red "reset" lever can also be used as an on/off switch. I wouldn't use this as a "daily" power control switch, but it's handy if you are occasionally troubleshooting or working on a protected circuit. ... show more

I fabricated a log hauler that can be used on logs up to 2 foot diameter and 12 foot long, with a 6000 pound winch. I haul it with 500 and 550 cc Honda and Polaris quad work horses along with an antique MCcormick Farmall Super C. I made a battery box from an extra large ammo can and installed the breaker on the inside wall, ran electrical wires through drilled holes and resealed. Wires run in to battery for charging and out to winch for power from breaker. This unit works great so far! ... show more

I had this for a while, until I received the appliance that this was intended to protect. That being said,, the return window had closed. 😡 I got around to installing the appliance this morning, a 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter, and this circuit breaker tripped at less than 30 amps, and was physically warm to the touch. I was only testing with a 1500watt load. Disappointed to say the least, very, very slightly pleased that its conservative and not the other way. I will put it in service, since I cannot return it, and hope for the best. ... show more
