Surprised by the quality of this jacket pictures do not do it justice. I own other xelement jackets and boots and never had any issues. This jacket looks and feels well made and solid. Sizing for me was spot on I ordered an xl I have a 50” chest and stocky shoulders and arms and a slight beer belly. Be aware that jackets like this are not supposed to fit like a casual jacket it would defeat the purpose for the protection features if needed. But also doesn’t fit tight as in restricted movement. I am impressed with this jacket I ordered another one in the next size up in the event I want to wear an additional layer underneath. Also the shipping from the retailer was excellent and very fast received jacket one day after ordering. If you want a decent riding jacket with some protection and one that looks sharp I highly recommend this jacket. Also compare to similar jackets with top name brands you will pay easily 3 or 4 times the price Well worth the money

Just got this jacket and very pleased with it. Extremely comfortable. Good light weight especially with the two interior liners removed for summer. Whole jacket body is mesh so nice air flow in summer. Like having the extra padding on the exterior front and back. Agree with previous reviewer (Shane - thx Shane!) that this is not a winter jacket but will be good for fall. Also agree only potential weak spot is the zipper. Came off the tracks twice already (I.e. started opening up from the bottom if you see what I mean.) Will have to watch that. But overall super nice and indeed a great price.

This jacket was good for the money. On really hot days you really appreciate being able to take the lining out. But also if you know it’s going to rain, you can just throw that liner back in. It’s not very easy to do but it’s not overly complicated, although you probably do have to spend five minutes trying to get it right. I do feel protected while wearing this jacket and it looks good and fits well.

I bought this jacket by reading others reviews, about sizing I can say, I'm 180cm toll usually I wear Large size, but I ordered XL for this jacket and it fits on me very well. After week of wearing the jacket i got an accident, and it really helps me to save my shoulders and back, but i got a minor scratches on my right elbow. So overall it is good jacket for this pricing range. Good luck guys.

Glad I got an XL! I normally wear a L but reviews suggest ordering up! Jacket will probably protect me in a low speed fall but I'm not sure about much more. BE CAREFUL WITH THE ZIPPERS! They're plastic junk and a tooth broke off the pocket zipper on the first use. Now I'm super careful every time.

I wore it during a storm for my 1 1/2 hour long commute at 2 a.m. On freeway and it kept me pretty dry and warm. I don't know the effectiveness of the "armor" portions but I hope to never physically find out. Though with an armored vest underneath for torso/spine protection I feel adequately protected from the elements as well as the road.
