You have to tear this..the rough edge will help separate the paper from the tape. A clean edge from cutting makes it impossible to get the paper off.

I use this tape for making paper craft projects. It is very sticky and holds the card stock paper and thinner paper very well. The size is perfect, not too wide and not too narrow. I'd recommend cutting it with scissors rather than tearing it. Good value also.
