Although this is a more basic reader/writer it still was able to easily and super quickly read, copy and write to fobs and cards that other brands couldnt even detect at the same frequencies. Its not super feature filled but for the price it gets the job done and well so cant complain at all.

This product does not work! I do not recommend buying this product as it will not work and is a waste of money! Unfortunately it's past my return date otherwise I would return it and if I had the ability to give it less than one star that's what it would receive

This RFID reader is solidly built and clearly made with quality materials. While it did take a bit of time to figure out the operation and get everything set up correctly, once I got past the learning curve it worked exactly as designed. After setup, the reader was reliable and consistent, accurately reading tags without issues. The performance feels dependable, and the overall build quality gives confidence that it will hold up well over time. I would recommend setting aside a little time to read the instructions and get familiar with the controls, but once you do, it does the job well. Overall, it’s a good-quality RFID reader that performs as advertised. Not the easiest to use at first, but effective and dependable once you’re up and running.

As my fiance' and I get ready to buy an apartment complex from a company that highly recommended these we realized that we had to get on the ball fast and learn how to operate these card readers and writers. This one isn't that complicated just didn't come with all the keys so its quite interesting to teach ourselves how to use it. I plan on buying another one that is almost like this so I can pick which one is a better fit for what we are preparing to do. This one has all the buttons for the scan in and reads some of the newer ones, but as for the ones that we received for the building it won't read them. So I guess either it doesn't like them or it needs an upgrade. If your looking for a scanner tool make sure you check the scan key first to make sure you buy the right one first. But this was a great learning tool. Thanks

Bummer spent money on an item that doesn’t work

I held out much hope for this NFC RFID Card Copier Reader Writer Duplicator because every other one that I have tried failed. Alas this one was not able to read my dock gate key cards. I connected this device to my PC and loaded their software that is supposed to be able to decrypt encrypted cards but that didn't work either - same result - unable to read the key card. This device will only ready the most basic of RFID keys. I did scan some old HID keycards from my office building successfully but I know that they are really old tech and simple key cards. I don't know what is so special about my dock gate keys but I tried 2 different keys from two different locations that have different gates and neither key would read. A commercial key card duplicator had no problem reading the dock gate keys and duplicating them so I know that they can be duplicated. Just wish I could have my own duplicator to do it rather than paying $30+ for each key on a commercial duplicator and having to wait 3-5 days to get a key fob.
