Although this is a more basic reader/writer it still was able to easily and super quickly read, copy and write to fobs and cards that other brands couldnt even detect at the same frequencies. Its not super feature filled but for the price it gets the job done and well so cant complain at all.

This product does not work! I do not recommend buying this product as it will not work and is a waste of money! Unfortunately it's past my return date otherwise I would return it and if I had the ability to give it less than one star that's what it would receive

It works well as described. Most cards, even simple ones, have encryption that requires the device to connect to a computer. The process becomes pretty tedious but it eventually gets the job done. Comes with a lot of programmable tags. That's a plus. The interface is very simple as well.

As my fiance' and I get ready to buy an apartment complex from a company that highly recommended these we realized that we had to get on the ball fast and learn how to operate these card readers and writers. This one isn't that complicated just didn't come with all the keys so its quite interesting to teach ourselves how to use it. I plan on buying another one that is almost like this so I can pick which one is a better fit for what we are preparing to do. This one has all the buttons for the scan in and reads some of the newer ones, but as for the ones that we received for the building it won't read them. So I guess either it doesn't like them or it needs an upgrade. If your looking for a scanner tool make sure you check the scan key first to make sure you buy the right one first. But this was a great learning tool. Thanks
