I installed four of these on my house and including the micro SD cards (for video storage), I was able to do so for around 100 bucks. I love the app and Wyze doesn't require a subscription or paid cloud storage. The app is easy to use and I can access the video on it that is stored on the micro SD cards I inserted to each camera. The 64gb cards provide about 2.5 days of footage. Installation required running power cord extenders (sold separately) through my attic and I fished them through holes in the overhangs outside. Installation might need a professional if you cannot do these things! The camera need a wire supplying power. The signal is over your WiFi. Each camera came with all the parts I needed except the extension cords which I bought to length for what I needed and the micro SD cards. The HD on the cameras is good enough and all four work well on my WiFi. I live in a brick/cinder block house so WiFi outside has been an issue but not with these cameras. I did not need a WiFi extender. The cameras also have speakers you can use over the app and an alarm. I am very happy with these cameras! ... show more

I bought my initial Wyze cameras years ago when they were a much better value. As with anything else, the company made a move to "strongly encourage" you to use the paid storage features. Their offering is a fairly good value for what you get and they often run promotions that present an even better value. However, we chose to use the SD card storage rather than the paid subscription. It is less than ideal because the cameras have a delay between events captured. For instance, if a car passes your camera and the camera records it, it will not create an "event" if another car passes 30 seconds after the first one. The video is a continuous loop and the footage will be there, you will just have to watch the entire video to find it unless you have an approximate time as there will be no event created for the second car. Fast forwarding through the SD card video is very laggy and almost unusable which makes it less than ideal. The camera performs well in low light and is easy to set up. ... show more

I’ll have to admit WYZE security cameras are a lot better than I have thought for being cheap. I would have thought the service wouldn’t have been any good. But I am so glad I purchased one to try it out. I love the colored night vision! I mainly bought mine to be sure my wifi fan/lights are on/off when I click the buttons so when I get home my bedroom is cooler! I always thought Arlo was the way to go. However I’m thinking on purchasing 6 more WYZE to replace my Arlo cameras throughout/around the house! Although per camera I think it’s 2.99 for the security subscription per month but that still beats Arlo’s subscription deals! Don’t always think when it comes to price that your getting better equipment cause this right here shows you that for 20.00 per camera u get way better footage! ... show more

This waze camera has the best video quality compare to other camera, brink is probably the worse. Great value for the camera and the subscription-$1.99 per month, best deal around, have no idea why people are complaining about the $1.99 cost per months while they gladly spend $10.00 per day on a cup of starbucks coffee, how stupid. The camera is extremely sensitive, it will trigger just about any noise, motion, shadow and on coming headlight, it’s a good thing but it could get really annoying when the notification is nonstop, so I recommend you to set the sensor to a lower setting. Also the apps could be improve, cannot even get the dark theme on all the page, not too easy to use, I spent over an hour just to adjusted the setting, so confusing, definitely needs work. The wi-fi seems to be a bit week, could be my router needs to be replace, a lots of time you get the message telling you the video never got uploaded due to the week wi-fi connection, kind of scary when you get notification but unable to view the video, hopefully after a new router is install it will correct the problem, another problem I have is the lights only come on some of the time, not sure if it is also the connection issue. Overall, I do highly recommend this camera, for less than $20.00 and only $1.99 per months on subscription, how can you go wrong, beside, they have the best picture quality by far, day or night. ... show more

The camera is quite easy to set up. It’s also easy to create rules to turn on and off the camera automatically. You can also switch it between various modes, such as night and day. The night vision setting works great in dark places. However, I found that the color night vision doesn’t work well indoor without at least some light. It’s likely a much better outdoor feature. I like Wyze cams and have several of them. The app works great. The buyer should be careful to review the use for this one. The price was low, but it swivels and flops. This is not a camera that you can place on a stand and be ready to use.
