I have been getting various brands of water shoes for over a decade this is a great option and value. I do a lot of kayaking and hiking, so I value a shoe that has a good grip, fits very comfortably with no hot spots, and doesn't let pebbles into my shoe. These are great. In humid climates, they still dry overnight, or quickly in the sun on a hot day. They are lightweight and pack flat! I even hiked strenuous black diamond trails in these suckers. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the water doesn't fully drain one out of the water. For example, I'll be standing in the water, getting into my kayak, and as I lift my foot out of the water, it doesn't fully drain. It's definitely not a dealbreaker, the benefits on these FAR outweigh any cons. I considered taking the insole out but I didn't want to lose that little bit of padding. Also, while these cover your toe, they do not offer full toe protection. If you frequently stub your toes and need toe protection, these may not be for you. I found that I balance well on these, but yes, might occasionally stub my toe and that would not have happened in other water shoes I have worn. For me, not getting rocks in my shoe was a priority. I have only had these for about a month, so didn't rate durability higher yet. If these remain in working condition for 1-2 years, I will say they are a very solid value. Update: these do NOT hold up long. I’d say I’m about 3 months in on use. The sole quickly peeled away from the mesh upper. Rocks got pushed in between shoe layers through the drain holes and are stuck there. For the money, not a bad option, but I don’t like the idea of buying and throwing away a pair of shoes every year.

I like to use water shoes for all terrain walking, with inner soles. With these shoes, the slight lift the inner soles give, the shoe slides in the back, bothering my heel. It only happens with the left shoe. So, it may be the shape of my foot, or just a slightly defective shoe. Otherwise, they are very comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. Make sure you size up, i’m an 8.5W with a narrow foot, whenever i do go by reviews telling me to order up, it’s a complete fail for me. apparently i don’t have to bc my foot is narrow. in this case it’s a water shoe and sometimes they’re a sock like imitation so i risked it and glad i did. can’t imagine someone with a wide foot getting their true size. comfy as i walked around in them but they do form a strange bubble in the back by the heel. someone else said it in the reviews and posted pictures as well and it’s definitely true. doesn’t bother me at all tho.
