  • Nice fit and good quality- thus far.,,
Size: Made For Mercedes-Benz A Class 2019-2022
Updated 4/13 So I’ve been to an automated Car Wash twice since I installed these, and drove in the rain 2 or 3 times. They did what they are meant to do. I cracked the window a few inches and no rain came on me, nor did any rain Enter my car. Usually the door panel would be covered in rain, not this time. I still haven’t had them long enough to rate durability, but I just had to add another star because they are on there pretty strong, and function really well. I should have purchased them long ago, they are very helpful to me . Original: I am skeptical as to how strong the tape is and their holding power. So far so good, but it’s only been 2 days since I installed them, which was very simple. They fit my Mercedes A220 really well, I have no complaints about the fit and think they look just fine. I’m also waiting for the rain to see if I can crack the window a bit and stay dry. From what I can tell, it should work just fine. I’m going to wait a couple of weeks before I go to my local car wash. Will they stay on? I have no idea but I will come back and update this review should they stay on. I might even give it a 5th star if it holds up, but as of now, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I just don’t know about durability. I’ve added some photos for you to see. Also, I did NOT see 3M anywhere on the tape. Usually 3M is stamped all over their product. I’m not saying it isn’t 3M, I just didn’t see it stamped. I used these a lot back n the 70s and 80s, but they attached with clips and fit in the channel, making them very strong. I never had an issue. This is my first experience with tape and an outside mount. Time will tell if these are durable. ... show more

  • Sturdy and easy to Install
Size: Made For Ford Escape 2013-2016
They were easy to install and pretty forgiving on lining them up. I cleaned the window frames with 99% alcohol before applying. The passenger is a little longer than the driver side. It’s been a couple months now and they are still on solid. They are much stiffer once installed. They block the wind and rain just how I wanted. The cost of these was about 1/4 of the name brand. I think they are worth it and I am very happy with them. You can’t go wrong with these. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Front shades good, car's back window design makes rear shades less than ideal
Size: Made For Honda Accord Sedan 1998-2002
My application is on a 2000 Honda Accord LX, sedan (4 door). As other reviewers have mentioned, does not cover the rear window sufficiently to keep out rain. Even cracking the rear window the slightest bit exposes a significant gap along the rear edge of the window. HOWEVER, I think this is largely due to design and shape of rear windows on the car. If you made the shade cover turn and go far down, it would likely work like a parachute as the open end would be facing forward and, I dunno, maybe get pulled off at high speeds, or vibrate badly. At the very best, if it didn't vibrate or get pulled off, I assume it would be really noisy. So, design as it is seems reasonable. Since even cracking the window slightly resulted in a decent sized gap, I decided not apply the 2 rear window shades so as not to add more noise (see below...). I don't need the rear shades for my purpose, so I'm not upset... just consider this when buying! The front shades function as expected. They add slightly to the wind noise in the car when windows are up. It's not too bad, but definitely a change ... my wife asked "what is that noise?" the first time she rode in the car after I had installed these. No vibration or screaming, just added wind noise. Meh, turn up the radio and you're good. When you crack the window at high speed with them in place, the effect of air blasting you in the face is a bit less and the noise is a bit less with window cracked with them in place than without them. The are very effective at what I bought them for - to be able to leave the windows cracked without fear of rain soaking my interior if it rains and I'm parked outside. I have had the 2 front windows cracked 3/4" each during a few rains now and interior has been dry. That amount of airflow does keep it cooler inside when parked outside here in the southeast. I could probably put windows down about an inch, maybe touch more, but I want the overlap, so I don't push it. The shades are dark enough that from the outside, you can't tell the windows are down a bit. They blend in very well to the trim, curves and style of the car. The fit isn't perfect and there is a little gap at the rear end of the shade where the door trim has a step-off, but so far if it's leaked, it's been extremely small amount and not on the seat or anywhere I care about (or such small leak it's dried out, I dunno). Installation was fairly easy - peel off covering of tape, press into place. They are slightly flexible, so you can twist them a touch in or out of shape. I got near-perfect alignment easily. I have plenty of experience working with my hands and fitting things together; I could see how it might not go so perfectly if you aren't quite so accustom to lining 3-dimensional things up ... if that's the case, take your time. I wish the profile was a bit lower - maybe there would be a touch less wind noise. Maybe they sell a 2 pc set for just the front windows, but I didn't see that in this brand. As above, I just discarded the rear window shades as they were useless to me given design of car + design of shade. Overall, though, decent product if you are looking to leave your windows down a bit but keep rain out. The difference in temperature is worth the slight increase in wind noise to me. ... show more

  • These Are Great And They Fit my 2005 Hyundai Sonata
Size: Made For Hyundai Sonata 1996-2005
These shields/deflectors are great. I like being able to leave my windows cracked more widely with them than without them, and am amazed at how my cooler my auto is when left out in the sun. I wish I'd had them when I was recently visiting down in Memphis where the heat was nearly unbearable. That was where I got the idea to install them on my 2005 Hyundai Sonata, because my brother had them on his truck. I checked the pricing at an auto store, and it was twice what I paid on Amazon, and Amazon included shields for all four windows instead of just two when looking at the auto shop, so I waited until I returned home. I'm glad I did. The shields accomodate the raised areas on the car over which the shields fit, but the glue does need some reinforcing in those areas as it doesn't stick well. These deflectors are stick-ons, and work fine except at the ends. They wre easy to install. I haven't decided what type of glue to use yet to reinforce them at the ends so will have to do a little research, but they are working fine as is and I love them. I can get a breeze when I'm driving during the rain and I don't get wet! They also look snazzy on my car. I should have done this years ago. ... show more

  • Too thick to be in-channel
Size: Made For Honda Ridgeline 2006-2010
I don’t like these at all. The lower, visible edge doesn’t have any shape to it so they end up looking wavy. My main issue with these, though, is they’re too thick on the inside-channel part. I have both a 2012 & a 2013 Ridgeline. The 2012 has had in-channel versions since I bought it, and they’re just fine. It’s not the channel, it’s the product. I ordered new ones, don’t want to even bother returning these, I just chucked them in the trash today after it forced my driver’s window off track. ... show more

  • I'm pleased with the purchase, price and value.
Size: Made For Mercedes C240 C320 C230 2001-2007
I installed these on my 2004 Mercedes C240. They came quickly and packaged carefully. I have an issue with my AC compressor that won't be able to be fixed for 2 months. Meanwhile, the temps here in FL are in the 90s. I originally wanted something that would stop the wind from blowing in my face while I drove with the windows down. (Just to let you know, this helps about 8% - it's not a good solution for that) But I got them anyway because it let me keep my windows cracked during the day. That along with my sunroof cracked and a front window visor, it stays at a decent heat level when I get in. It also is a little bit of a shade to the interior, so be aware it'll look a tad bit darker inside. The look is nice since my car is black, smoke blends in well. It doesn't fit the 100% exact measurements (more like 90 - 95%), but it does the job. Installation was quick and easy. When I close my door getting out, I do shut it by touching the area it's connected to the car at. I've had them on my car about 45 days so far and it always feels secure and sturdy. I'm pleased with the purchase, cost and value. UPDATE 5/26/17 Almost 1 year and 1 compressor later, all is well. I like the look still. No lifting. No cracks. Still secure. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend. ... show more

  • They’re decent set for my Toyota Tundra.
Size: Made For Toyota Tundra CrewMax 2007-2016
Purchased for my 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition crewmax. My other ones lasted for about one year and a half. I purchased these and they fit all of my windows, however the double sided tape was compressed and smashed and some of the area the tape didn’t have its stickiness. I however did reinstall with my own double sided tape and I was able to get it stick to my truck. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic is fairly thinner than I’m used to or my last set. They did fit and were easy to instill. No alcohol prep pads to ensure a true clean surface install but I had saniwipes that I used to clean the area. ... show more
