I've been currently losing weight and in need of new jeans for my changing body. One problem I've run into is my jeans gapping in the back but with these Wranglers it doesn't happen. When I tried these on I was reminded of the old saying “those wrangler butts just drive me nuts”. These are no exception -they accentuate my silhouette nicely. They feel like more of a high rise to me just because I’m short waisted. What I adore about them is this genius, hidden comfort stretch waistband. I ordered the 11-34 and the fit was fairly snug around the junk in the trunk without feeling uncomfortable because it had the perfect stretch (firm enough to hold everything in but stretchy enough to have a little give.) I was hoping they’d be just a little less snug because I do typically like somewhat looser clothing, but they felt fine sitting down and moving about. And my partner likes them, so there’s that! I’m 5’8 and the bottoms will definitely drag without heels. I’d be curious to try a 9-34 or 9-36 to compare. I'm a size 3 in Wranglers pretty much across the board. The waist was so small on the pair I received, they wouldn't pass my thighs. Not sure if they were mis-sized, or if this particular still is just cut extremely small, but they were definitely not a good fit.
