Back in the day, we called these "work shirts". It seemed like everyone owned at least one and they were pretty much a wardrobe staple. I'm super pleased with this shirt and I'm happy they're making a comeback. This shirt is so versatile. I can tuck it in or leave it untucked. I can button it up or wear it open. It looks cute on its own or over a t-shirt. And, it gets softer every time it's washed. I also love the fit of this shirt. I ordered my normal size, Medium, and the fit is perfect The length is great for tucking in. It isn't too short. The arms are also long enough to leave down. I have a long torso and long arms so I have trouble finding great fitting shirts. For reference, I'm 5'7 and weigh between 130 and 135lbs. I also wear a 36C. This shirt is great quality and a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. I also love that this shirt can be worn year round. It's lightweight enough to wear with shorts in the summer or over another top in cooler and colder weather. It also makes a super lightweight jacket. I absolutely love this shirt. Great snaps, but I would wish for roomier sleeves. Precise fit to bust size, and I wish it came in a size larger because I was hoping to use this as an overblouse with a t-shirt underneath, but it's too tight a fit for that. The snap clasps seem terrific, stable, and a snap is better than a button IMO. It's a clean, sharp material. Soft, but not so soft you think it's fragile. Instead of returning it, I've decided to keep it as it's a good product.

OK here’s the real deal on this shirt, after reading multiple reviews. I am 5‘7“ and 125 pounds. Someone else my weight/height bought an XS and said it was perfect, and you can see in her pic, her sleeves are too short. I am a true small most of the time (or med.) and this shirt is the right fit in my size. I wanted something more fitted, this shirt has princess seams on the back. Yes it smells a little funny, so wash it! The mid blue is the perfect color for a slightly faded vintage look. The fabric isn’t true denim which it shouldn’t be as a shirt, it’s more like a lighter chambray, but it has the look of denim, which is great for me, I didn’t want it stiff. You can wear it open as a shacket, but it won’t provide much warmth. I wanted to wear it as a shirt. It’s 100% cotton so I expect a little shrinkage, but to me, it would fit even better. [Update: washed/dried, it shrank a bit and fits better! Mostly sleeve and shirttail length.] If you want it more oversized, I would suggest going up as size. I love fashion and can’t wait to style this in endless ways! It’s SO the classic that belongs in every woman’s closet, that’s why they call it wrangler retro!. The pocket placement and size is perfect for us bustier girls.

Love this shirt, but since it is 100% cotton, I would strongly advise that you wash it in cold, and hang it up to dry as opposed to the dryer. Ordered up from medium to large since personally I do not like things tight; this shirt is designed to be form fitting anyway. Yes, the sleeves tend to be long but they could easily be rolled up and if cared for properly, the shirt will fit the same as the first day you got it. Snaps are always an added bonus, material is of medium weight.

This denim western shirt is a basic classic and versatile style. However, the fabric is a little thin and not as tightly woven as a better quality shirt. Also, it is a little baggy and loose fitting. Since I always wear it over a tee shirt, the loose fit isn't too bad. I would prefer a slightly more fitted western shirt. But, you get what you pay for, and this shirt is inexpensive. The snap closings are a nice feature and fabric is very soft.
