Wrangler replaced my jeans, they have decided to stand behind their product!!!! Out of the seven pairs of Wrangler jeans I’ve bought, only TWO haven’t split, ripped, or betrayed me like a backstabbing ex. One pair actually blew out on the first wear—ripped clean down the leg like I was attacked by a bobcat (spoiler: I wasn’t). The Sadie jeans? Cute name, but unless you keep your shirt tucked like you’re reporting for duty, those grippy waistband things will pinch the living daylights out of your skin every time you move. Surprise! Instant exfoliation. On the plus side, these jeans are actually long enough for us 35” inseam gals to wear heels. That’s a small miracle. But here in small-town farm country, where I’m actually using my jeans to work—not just pose in a pumpkin patch—I don’t have time to wash ‘em, drive to FedEx, and send them back like I’m returning fine china. Wrangler’s solution? “Just send them in.” My solution? Calculate the fuel cost and just wait for a sale. I must be a sucker, because I keep buying them. Why? Because they fit like a dream. They hug the right spots, make my legs look like a 90s denim ad, and don’t stop mid-ankle like some toddler-length trend. If only the low rise was actually low rise (and not mid-rise in disguise), I’d be throwing stars like it’s a rodeo. So here’s the summary: If you’re into jeans that feel amazing, look fantastic, and then explode at the seams without warning, these are for you. If you enjoy that rush of will my butt be covered today or nah? and like your denim with a side of personal injury from waistband claws, then saddle up, baby. But if you want durability, actual workwear grit, and not just fashion farm cosplay, Wrangler’s got some serious patching up to do. Wrangler, fix your quality. Your fits are gold. Comments on sizing: Size chart may not be 100% accurate. I have a 27-28" waist. I ordered a 5 to account for shrinkage, which shows as 29" on the listing. The label on the jeans, however, indicates that a 5 is a 28 waist. Before wash: perfect fit with breathing/movement room. I wear a 27/28 in other brands (Lucky, Levi) and these were consistent with that sizing. After wash: shrunk about an inch all around (waist/thigh/length). For this reason one might want to size up. Style/comfort: I love the retro pockets. The boot cut legs are perfect--not too flared. The wash is a medium to dark, which is exactly what I was looking for. I should note that there is a distinct crease line on these running from the seat (back) and from the knees (front) to the hem. Although it is pictured in the listing I didn't notice until I received them. No break in needed; nice amount of stretch/softness. Fit: Although they are listed as "mid-rise" I would say they do run on the lower end of mid. To me, midrise hits slightly below the waist--on me these sit right on the hip. Durability: Durability is hard to speak to. They don't seem very rugged, and probably not BIFL. But with the sale price I'd be happy to get a few years out of them. Summary: It's very hard to find comfortable, TRUE bootcut jeans, off the rack, with a petite inseam. So these were a fabulous find. If a size up was available, I probably would have exchanged, but Amazon didn't have a 7x30. ... show more

Don’t fit me quite like a wanted them to. They’re long enough to go down to my heals, but they don’t because the cut isn’t quite wide enough at the bottom. Doesn’t really stretch since they’re 98% cotton. They do last though. My Ariat jeans rip easily. These don’t. They are scratchy since they’re almost all cotton, but I’d rather them be a little uncomfortable than ripped. They didn’t shrink that I could tell. ... show more
