This is the third pair of Wrangler comfort fit jeans I've bought in the last 4 weeks. These are exactly what I have been looking for. I can wear a one size smaller in these due to the stretch in the waistband. A problem I've had with jeans is getting a pair that is not too tight in the waist but one that doesn't end up being a size larger after wearing them all day. I will put on a standard non-stretchable pair of jeans in the morning that fit snug in the waist and by lunch time they are falling down my hips. For middle-aged guys most of us have a slightly (or more than slightly) waist vs our hips. Once the jeans stretch out from wearing and slide down to my hips, they would literally fall all the way down without a belt cinched up so tight I can't breathe. The stretchable waistband in the Wrangler's allows for me to buy a standard fit pair rather than a relaxed fit and look so much better on. Like all jeans these will stretch after wearing all day, but because I can wear a size smaller it's not a big deal and they don't want to fall down. Until suspenders come back into fashion, these work the best for me. High quality as you can expect from Wrangler and a great value.

Long story short. This past July (2023) I finally started exercising and lost 53lbs. My waist has gone from 44" to 38" so I ordered new jeans on Amazon. They arrived today and I ripped open the Tyvek shipping envelope only to find another VERY NICELY wrapped plastic item inside, it was my new jeans. Normally at the store, there just folded over. So I unwrapped that and saw the jeans inside, as I was unfolding them, I thought, oh no, they'll never fir but I tried them on anyway. Was I ever shocked and amazed, the fit was better than perfect. They make me look so slim and nice. I don't even walk around looking like I have a load full. Therefore, of my 100's of Amazon purchases, this is the BEST EVER. Thank you AMAZON.

I’ve owned two pair of these jeans and have to say that they don’t live up to the usual Wrangler longevity. The material is much thinner than normal Wrangler jeans and begin showing wear after about 10 washings. They start to pill up in the upper leg and become very unsightly. I would not buy again.

I wear a 32 generally, and they generally fit snug, and then gradually loosen up over a period of 2 days to the point of needing washed again. These "streth fit" jeans, I tried a size 32, and a size 31, and both seemed more like a 33. They were ginormous! They fit for a few minutes straight out of the dryer--after washing. I finally ordered a size 28 (I've never been able to wear anything smaller than 32) and the size 28 fits perfect. It's very snug, but they are so stretchy that the fit is perfect. Finally, they don't fall down when I'm working. My suggestion, order these WAY WAY WAY smaller than you think, because they stretch almost infinitely. They just keep stretching, the longer you wear them, the more they stretch. But the end of the day, they fit to your body and become loose.

So glad I did cause when my dad told me he couldn’t find his favorite jeans at all his usual shopping places, I had them in cart as we spoke. He says they’re super comfortable and stretchy. He works in construction and needs the extra comfort to get through a hard day.

At the ripe old age of 76, I've worn wranglers for decades. I would have rate these denims a five, however, they really are not the same as the ones in the good old days...much thinner material. That being said, one can't be too fussy these days with the way products compete in the race to the bottom.
