I decided to give this shave duo a try because my head has a long history of reacting to razors like I’ve personally offended it. Razor burn, redness, bumps—basically the whole fireworks show. So I figured I’d try a setup that actually works together instead of mixing random products like a mad scientist. I'm more of a traditional foam style shaving cream as opposed to gel so this was new for me. I feel like I need to use more gel than I do with foam but more than likely its just due to my inexperience with this type of product. Once I lather up my face and head, I go to town with whichever razor I can get my hands on. I switch back and forth between my skullshaver and a Harrys razor and come out pretty smooth with each. It stays put, gives the razor a smooth glide, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I used it for a head shave, and the blade didn’t catch or drag, which is usually where the trouble starts. The after shave lotion... I'm in love. This stuff is like sending your skin to therapy. It goes on light, absorbs fast, and doesn’t leave that shiny “I just moisturized and now I’m sticky for the next hour” situation. I have some sensory issues so I was VERY timid to try this. Surprisingly it did not give me that slimy moisturizer feeling and it helped my skin calm down almost immediately—no angry red patches, no burning, no bumps forming later in the day. My wife would always say I go too hard with the razor on my head because of all the red marks and bumps but after using the lotion, these disappeared. Just clean, comfortable skin that didn’t feel tight or dried out. If you shave your head or deal with sensitive skin, this combo makes the whole process way less dramatic. Smooth shave, calm skin, zero greasiness. Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve finished a shave and thought, “Huh… that was actually nice.”

This shaving set is not bad overall. The scent is decent and makes the products more pleasant to use. It is noticeable without being too much, which worked well for me. I did not find the fragrance harsh or distracting, and it stayed in the background instead of taking over the whole experience. The set has been simple to work into a regular shaving routine. The products are easy to use, and nothing about the process felt awkward or overly messy. The overall quality seems decent, and the experience has been consistent each time. The scent is still the main positive for me because it gives the set a cleaner, more finished feel without making it seem overly perfumed. Overall, I am satisfied with this set. It is not something I would describe as premium, but it has worked well enough and has been easy to keep using. I'm clean shaven for the first time in a few years. My son borrowed my badger hair brush and shaving soap, so I've been dry shaving for a while - which is generally fine, and actually really easy to clean up - but I do get nicks on my chin fairly often. So I ordered this shave cream and after shave lotion. Packaging Very secure. The two package were separately wrapped in a shrink wrap that held the lid on very securely. The bottle is also sealed with a foil seal under the lid. Color - The shave cream comes out of the bottle white - following the instructions, I squeezed out a "quarter sized" amount, applied it to my damp face, and vigorously lathered it. It didn't get all foamy and soapy. Instead it applied clear , allowing me to see exactly where my straight razor was going - a big plus. The after shave cream is clear. You don't need as much of this; as the instructions say, a little goes a long way. Texture - Smooth. Very smooth. It feels great. Aroma - It smells like my barber when he lathers and straight shaves for a sharp line around the back of my head. All in all - I'm really happy with this dual combo and I'm a fan. Oh - and no new nicks like I get when I'm dry shaving with just a straight razor and no soap or cream.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The only reason they are so cheap is because they are the worst products. The shaving cream burns my face after applying and it made my face really itchy too. It caused me acne too. The after shave lotion is terrible also.

I've only been using the shaving cream so far, but it's honestly been really impressive. It creates a super slick layer that lets the razor glide easily, and I finished my shave without any razor burn, redness, or those annoying little bumps I sometimes get. My skin felt smooth afterward instead of irritated. One thing I did notice is that it rinses away pretty easily if you have a lot of water running over the area you're shaving. It's not a huge deal I just applied a little more whenever that happened. I'd rather use a little extra product than shave over skin that isn't well lubricated. It also has a nice clean scent that's noticeable without being overpowering, and it rinses off clean without leaving any weird residue behind. I haven't spent enough time with the aftershave balm yet to really comment on it, but based on my experience with the shaving cream alone, I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the set. If the balm performs anywhere near as well, this will be an easy product to keep around.

So far, I have tried out the shaving cream from this set and it works incredibly well! It completely protects the skin and leaves you with an exceptionally smooth shave with absolutely no razor burn, bumps, or irritation afterward. To top it off, it has a really wonderful scent that makes the whole experience great. My biggest tip when using this shaving cream is to make sure you use a generous amount depending on where you are shaving. You want to make sure your skin feels completely slick before the razor touches it. At one point during my shave, I noticed the water washed a little bit of the cream away, so I just quickly applied more. It is always much better to have a little too much product on the skin than not enough! I am really happy with how protective and smooth this formula is. The Good: - Delivers an incredibly smooth shave with zero razor burn or redness - Highly effective at preventing post-shave bumps and irritation - Nice, pleasant scent - Rinses clean while leaving the skin feeling deeply protected The Bad: - Water can wash it off easily mid-shave, so you may need to reapply to keep it slick
