For years I've been buying stabilizer on the roll. I have been thinking about converting to sheets but really wanted ones that fit my 5x7 hoop with ease. These fit the bill. Medium weight, which for me works perfect behind most of my projects, a bit thicker than I am used to. One review mentioned that they are the weight of paper towels, which I agree they are a bit thicker than I'm used to and can be a little off putting, but that didn't impact my embroidery at all. They hoop up nicely with plenty of overlap on all sides, are strong enough to handle being stretched and pulled a bit for a nice tight sewing bed. (I only hoop my stabilizer and use spray adhesive to tack down my project.) I have a Brother PE 770 and there is no trouble with stitching through this stabilizer. I made no machine adjustments, other than what I needed to accommodate my metallic thread. The stitching was gorgeous and when I did the tear away it was easy as pie... came right off with very little effort. This is lovely stabilizer and if you do a lot of embroidery, this is a great one to have in your stabilizer arsenal. Give it a whirl! I am so glad I did.

Fantastic! This works wonderfully and tears away cleanly and easily after use. I had been hesitant because I had bought some stabilizer when I first got my machine (bought it locally; my mistake!) and it had not been the right stuff for my machine. There is not a lot of information on the site, but I decided that for this low price I would take a gamble on this, and boy, am I glad I did!

After doing the math and realizing that this pack of pre-cut Tear Away Stabilizer sheets cost way less than purchasing yardage at JoAnns (even when it is on sale) and cutting them myself, I decided to do myself a favor and ordered these. I am very pleased with what I received. These are a great value for a great product. I stitched several projects after receiving these sheets and they worked perfectly. I will buy these from now on for my 5 x 7 projects.

Its slightly more expensive ordering precut but worth it. I don't make a lot of shirts any more but the new trend of embroidered side bows i was using cut away and hated it on sides. I tried tear away and it made it so much easier and with white sweatshirts you can see through to cut away left behind so now i use this tear away kind on sides so i can rip it out, make my cuts in the shirt and be done. Used this on all the bows on these <3

Prefer my backing to be thicker - with that being said, I love that it fits perfectly into my 5 x 7 hoop with and it did sew good. I always float my materials and pin them down rather than hooping and them - while pinning, I poked my finger through a couple of times - I'm sure that once I adjust to it being thinner that it will be just fine.

I love this stabilizer. I read some reviews that were negative and I did not have nay issues with it at all. I have been working on a bunch of different Christmas projects and where a medium tear away is appropriate, these have worked very well. I bought this same brand a couple of years ago when I had a Brother 270D for my 4 X 4 hoop and never had a problem with them either. I have multiple hoops for my SE1800 and love the machine to pieces. I still have some of those pre-cut for my 4 X 4 and still nothing but great results. Same company different size. Will order again when I run out.

I’ve ordered and used this from this supplier for years. I made over 5000 masks with this? Years of embroidery towels. I needed to reorder and though it’s still “tear away” somewhat. It’s impossible to truly tear it away in any designs that have wording. I am so so as! I loved this and it made my business so easy! I won’t be ordering again! So sad!
