The build quality, slides, and lock up of this mini tool box is all great. Everything lines up and there's no issues with the metal. This is a larger mini tool box than harbor freight and double the price. It has drawer liners included, and a nice handle too. I don't think this is twice as useful or any higher quality, so it's hard to determine if the increase in size of this box is quite worth $40, but if you're in the market it high quality and should last a long time.

It seems like Harbor Freight started the mini-tool box craze over Black Friday 2024 and everyone has been jumping on the bandwagon since. You are probably looking at the $50 price tag of this and wondering what makes this cost so much more than the $30 options out there right now. This thing is has ball bear slides that open and close smoothly compared to the cheaper toolboxes that just have metal sliding on metal. It also comes with drawer liners and rubber feet to keep it in place or prevent scratching a nice desk. The metal is thick and there is a top storage chest as well, which some of the cheaper ones only have the 2-drawers for storage. The drawer liners are the same quality you'd see in a full size tool cabinet as well. Overall, it is priced according to the quality. If $50 is too steep, you can wait a little and it will go on sale. It has already dropped $5 down to $45 after coupon just from the time I ordered it to writing this review.

This is a miniature toolbox for those small fiddly tools and accessories that you wouldn't want to have to search for in a full-sized floor-mount rolling tool cabinet. It's not miniature quality though- the drawers feel meaty, if that makes sense- both in terms of thickness of material, and how smoothly the rollers on the drawer slides do slide. This isn't my first workshop accessory or tool from WorkPro so I expected it would be good, but it's still exceeded my expectations and I love it. I choose the oink color because I can use other men's toxic masculinity as an anti-theft device: it's slightly less likely to "walk away" than the more common colors. Also, pink is a cute color and more people should embrace the colors they genuinely like. And this shade of pink looks really good with the silvery chrome and shiny steel/aluminum accents.

This mini toolbox is slightly larger than the one from Harbor Freight and has a couple of other differences. For one, this toolbox has a carrying handle and a top latch to keep the lid closed during transport. It is also taller thanks to the larger main compartment on the top. This box was definitely designed with portability in mind vs the harbor freight one, which wasn't made to be moved once in use. Both boxes feature ball bearing slides that open and close smoothly and steel construction. Overall, I think the harbor freight mini tool box is better looking but this work pro box is more functional and can be carried easily for jobs that only require a few specific tools. I have been using mine to load up with tools from my main box in the garage whenever I am needed for a project that takes me out of my home. For $50 (currently on sale for $40) the price is steep compared with harbor freight. I think at $30-$35, this box would be a great buy. Solid 4/5.

The macaron color is so cute and fun, and the drawers glide smoothly, making it easy for her to grab what she needs.
