I was visiting my Dad for Father’s Day, and thought a tool bucket would be perfect for the way he uses his tools. He lives on a pretty big property and has little tasks to perform all over the place. He gets around on a tractor and a golf cart, so a bucket organizer seemed really smart. It was. I bought 4 different brands, like Bucket Boss, and Dickies, and the WorkPro was heads and shoulders above the rest of them. It has a sturdier construction, and way more pockets than the other three I bought. It’s not just that there are more pockets, it’s that they are also more functional, and they accommodate a wider array of tools than the other brands. It’s also easy to pull the whole bag out of the bucket and carry it without the bucket too, if you need to. I let Dad keep the WorkPro and I took the other ones home. I’m jealous of his though, and I’ll probably gift the other ones with tools in them to some high school or college graduates this year; just so I’ll have an excuse to buy the WorkPro one for myself. ... show more

    • Trying to decide how many I need
This is what I envisioned upon ordering. Some of the pockets are a little smaller than I had in mind but I’m still happy with it. If you have a lot of single screw drivers those pockets would be a good fit. Upon initial inspection it seems to be very good quality. Stitching looks solid. Material seems durable. After some time passes I will update my review and let you know. I don’t anticipate any major concerns. I bought this one online and a different brand they had on the shelf at Home Depot. I’m going to use them both for a while and see which one is more functional for the tools I have. Attaching it to the bucket took less than a second. It literally just folds over the rim and then you can tuck one of the outer sides under the handle and move the handle above the organizer. That’s it for installation. Here’s my story. I live in a smaller space. I have different types of tools. I have a cluttered brain. Storing tools in closed containers has not been working for me and it’s taking too long to find what I need so I can begin a task. I decided to have a bucket for general, a different bucket for plumbing, another bucket for woodworking, and so on. I am just beginning to organize this way. I’m going to try the general and the plumbing bucket initially and see if that system works for me. If it does I will decide how many buckets I need and if I want more of these organizers and which type. We’ll see how it goes. The idea, of course, is when I’m beginning a project I pull out that bucket, transfer the tools needed into my portable caddy and I’m on my way. No more digging in different boxes and losing track of where did I put that last. If I see a tool was placed in the wrong bucket it will be easy to identify and transfer at a glance. Fingers crossed.     • Sturdy with tons of pockets/room.
This is a great item and I was amazed with the sturdiness and quality. I moved my entire tool case to this item (used a bucket I had in garage) and I can see everything all at once. So much easier when you can see tools v. within drawers. Fully portable and middle is large enough to carry impact drill, drill, and many other larger items all at once.
