This shop vac is very sturdy and I love the fact that it’s made of metal which makes it extremely easy to clean and it holds little to no odor unlike plastic shop vacuums . Although it is a metal vac ? It’s not heavy at all . I do have issue with the pole extensions , unless you really force them tightly together or tape them together ? They will slip apart if you’re using the blower. Also where the handle actually connects to the attachments ? There’s a bit of air escape . The cord is a decent length for a home use shop vac , but you can always use a utility cord to lengthen it . The power/ suction is decent I actually tested this shop - vac to see if it really has sufficient strength for suction ? And I was able to pick up a Walmart grocery bag of 8 base balls . With no problem . The quality is very good for the price and for it not to be an expensive shop-vac . ... show more

I use this mostly for auto detailing. Primarily for wet use. It has excellent suction. Does a great job of extraction. Easy to clean and maintain. Includes filters for wet and dry use. The only con in my experience in the hose has a curved hard plastic end. This makes it very awkward for my use. I emailed the manufacturer to inquire about a straight end replacement hose and was told by the representative that replacement parts are not being offered at this time. Bummer ... show more

I initially ordered the WORKPRO Shop Vacuum for an occasional basement water issue, but when I realized all the other functions the vacuum was useful for, I first used it on my hardwood floors and was pleased with the results. The use of the vacuum was much more efficient as opposed to when I simply swept the floors with a broom; much faster, too. I walked across the floors, barefoot, to check for grim under foot, and nothing attached to my feet after using the WORKPRO. The wheels on the bottom of the vacuum made the vacuum extremely portable and provided fluid movement without stopping to fidget with placement of the vacuum, itself. The WORKPRO Shop Vacuum’s not-so-font friendly user’s guide did provide, however, detailed illustrations and instructions for assembly, operation and maintenance; and directions were easy to follow. I haven’t used the wet vac function yet, but I can’t see any reason why the vacuum wouldn’t perform as marketed.     • What I've been missing!
I've never owned a shop vac before this one, but I've thought about it often over the years. I'm glad I finally took the plunge with this Workpro model. It was easy to setup and the instructions were well-written and helpful. I like that it came with a standard vacuum bag, since the first thing I used it on was our (unlit) fireplace. The Workpro cleaned up the dust and ash like a trooper. Plenty of suction and no ash leaving the machine that I could tell. I also like how light this shop vac is. Very easy to get where you need it to be. (I confess, I often wrestle with the other vacuum cleaners in our home. Always feels like I'm pulling a dead weight that is destined to catch on something or fall over.) I also used it to clean sections of our hardwood floor. Worked great there too. The noise level rivals other vacuum cleaners. Wasn't too excessive. Haven't had a chance to use it in my actual "shop" yet, but I'm sure that day is coming this summer. Great tool to have around. When my product arrived, the vacuum looked use and the tube looked slightly bent. The suction isn't great. I was very excited to finally have my own vacuum but this is not it.. my return window closed. Sadly. I would love to return .

No part numbers for the bag and filter, so I can't order replacements and get the right parts. No warranty information so I know when the warranty is up, and who to contac for information. Other than that I used it once, and it works great.
