Arrived scuffed and scraped. Wasn’t packaged very well. If you cut something in this, the cuts are permanent. It will protect your work surface for the most part. If you want your workbench to look like your favorite Vlogger’s, this is what you want.

The packaging for the mat clearly states on the label " do not roll" and they ship the mat rolled!! I've had it weighted down for almost 10 days with flat free weights; about 100lbs dispersed along the worse parts of the mat. I rotated them every few days to keep things "even". I even flipped the mat for a few days to put weight on the other side too. This is as good as it gets. The longer the weights are off the worse the warping gets again. I'm really frustrated because I needed a large cutting mat for my table and this was within my budget and then to receive it rolled and wait over a week to use it and still not have a flat surface is aggravating as hell. The mat is a great product, the weight is good, the self-healing is good for this price point and the size is perfect. BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO ROLL IT FOR SHIPPING?! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIND ANOTHER WAY TO DO THIS. ... show more

There is no need to move it between uses, it covers enough space so she can sew on top of it. This means it protects the surface of the table. It is heavy enough so it won't slip. I was planning on cutting the mat to fit the table width but once I received it I decided to widen the sewing table. Works well. ... show more

I was a little bit concerned when I read previous reviews which indicated that the mat came rolled and would not flatten out. Mine came in the biggest box I think UPS has ever delivered to our house and was only slighly curved within the box. When it came out it was flat right away.
