Id like to start by saying this is THE FIRST amazon product where I havent thrown away the included mounting hardware and used my own. These shelves included some quite nice self drilling drywall anchors, which i used, ill update my review if they dont hold up. The shelves themselves were very easy to assemble (pro tip; put on the little rails after youve mounted the shelves on the walls), i secures the rails with a little liquid nails since they just slot into place and they're a bit wiggly. The media could not be loaded. These are so cute!! I've been wanting shelves in my plant propagation corner and these are everything I hoped for and more, visually! The biggest reason I gave it 4 stars is because the drywall anchors that came were SO weak and several of them broke. Thankfully there was at least one extra and I had one on hand so I was able to still make it work, but it was really frustrating and disappointing realizing I might have to go buy anchors to use this product. The shelves are a bit wobbly and I'm not sure how much weight they will hold, but I love the look so much and don't need them to hold too much, that I almost don't care about that part at all. The gold bar is a nice touch and actually matches my kitchen cabinet handles! The gold is less yellow than in the listing pictures which is nice. I didn't need the box shelf in the corner because I had to leave room on the wall to open the deep freezer underneath the shelves, but I wanted to use it in the bathroom. I set it on the toilet to imagine what it'd look like in there, and didn't love all the white on white in white. I also really disliked the way the screws on the shelf showed on the sides, as well as the notched out section in the back where the wall anchors sit. It was distracting from the clean lines and looked cheap. I thought I'd try painting it black and see if it looked better. And I think it does! We'll see if the paint holds up okay. There is a black and gold option so keep that in mind when purchasing it! I love the way the white and gold shelves look in my plant corner and am glad I was able to make the other one work in bathroom. I'm very happy with them! These shelves were super easy to put together and install, and they look lovely in the bathroom. They're perfect for a little extra storage if you're like me and only have a tiny sink and no medicine cabinet. I'm using them to store my extra makeup and hair products.
