If you’ve ever dreamed of making your home look Pinterest worthy without risking a trip to the emergency room, then these wood floating shelves are your new best friend! They’re sturdy, sleek, and will make your living room look like you’ve gotten your life together (even if you’re still eating cereal for dinner)! First of all installing them is surprisingly easy I was half expecting to accidentally knock a hole in the wall spent hours wondering why I’m not allowed to have nice things but the shelves fit snugly and the hardware was so simple actually felt like a DIY expert. The shelves themselves look very good, but are surprisingly light (they look like real wood, but they have the weight of Balsa). Except as noted below, installation was quite easy, and I am pleased that the kit included six shelves and hardware. However, I removed one star for the drywall anchors included with the kit. I have worked with this type of anchor before ((i.e., guitar hangers). The anchors in that case,went into drywall like butter and held a great deal of weight. However, those anchors were HARD plastic. The type included with these shelves are SOFT plastic. This unfortunately lead to one seriously deforming while screwing in, and another stripping its Phillips slot. I got wise and created liberal 3/8th" starter holes for them (which the instructions do not indicate). This has lead to no further failures.

This is a great set of shelves at a great price. Easy to assemble, and very easy to install. They come with everything you need for a proper installation. They do hold a lot of items. They’re sturdy and durable. Definitely would recommend.

These shelves are lightweight & look very nice. Can't say easy to install because any shelf requires anchors and leveling and such. If you are good at that stuff, then these are easy to install! Will be ordering more!

I love these shelves. I have them in my living room, my kitchen, and I used some in my office at work. They are lightweight, easy to install, and secure, yet I wouldn’t put a ton of weight on them. I use it for a variety of things whether it’s just decoration or functionality. This product came quickly and was exactly as described. It is a stained piece of wood, not plastic or something with an overlay on it to look like wood. It works well for me and didn’t break the bank!
