I was dreading trying to find a dress that looked age appropriate and still fun, and one that would add some camouflage to a ‘menopause belly’. This dress is just stretchy enough to give where it needs to, and give a nice support around the midsection. The little ruffle looks good and helps streamline the side view. The slit makes walking in it very comfortable, and the ruffles down the front give this dress a great movement when I walk. The price was great and I actually feel good in it. I ordered this dress for my daughter to use in her senior pictures. It is absolutely gorgeous and fits like a glove! Great quality and great price! And it came in one day! My daughter is 5’8” and around 118lbs for reference. Material does have some stretch.

The dress is made of a nice, stretchy, thick material that follows natural body curves without clinging. The subtle mermaid silhouette is attractive without being overly tight. The way it releases into a flowy hem balances the overall fit of the dress, making it still look lovely on a figure that may be a bit pear-shaped—something most mermaid gowns fail to accomplish. The media could not be loaded. I originally ordered this in green at the same time as another green long sleeve dress in for a winter wedding. I decided to keep the long sleeve dress for warmth, but I loved this style so much that I chose to re-order in a different color so I could wear it for another event. Y'all this dress is flattering and gorgeous no matter what, but I re-ordered in purple and the reviews that call it "deep purple" or "plum"...I disagree to say the least. The Green dress was a beautiful deep dark forest green and I loved the color. It was elegant and classy. I assumed based on that and other reviews that purple would be a deep rich purple. It is a true vibrant medium purple (think Queen Elizabeth purple). I am a purple girl but this is too much for me. I am afraid to keep ordering and returning different colors so I feel like I am probably going to re-order once more in basic black. If you are wearing this for a formal event I would stick to the darker colors: green, navy, black and burgundy unless you like vibrant. The purple, red, pink, and teal are definitely the more vibrant colors and they give the dress a more casual vibe in my opinion, so it depends on what you are buying it for. The material is soft and moderately stretchy but you will need appropriate undergarments because lumps and bumps will show without them. I followed the size chart and it was spot on. I am normally a size 4/6 but according to the chart I ordered medium and it fits perfectly. Love the dress, I just wish it was easier to see an accurate color representation online! ... show more

This dress is SO well made, was super comfortable to wear, didn’t require any steaming. The fabric is nice and has the perfect amount of stretch. My niece and friend have worn this dress and it looked amazing on both of them!

Based on the reviews, I ordered this dress hopeful it would fit my 5'4" 185 pound body. It was by far the most flattering of the dresses I ordered and tried on. Absolutely 150% comfortable! Not at all sheer. And, with a two-inch heel, I did NOT need to hem this dress. I could not believe it. The first full-length dress I did not need to hem. The compliments I received were many. I do not think anyone could go wrong with this dress. I hope I have another event where I can wear it again. And I'm bummed I have no good pictures to share. ... show more

I bought this for a Night of Honor ceremony for my company. It fit perfect and I got so many compliments. The material does has some stretch. I liked the ruffle and slit on the leg. The neck is very high which made it hard to find the right bra. I ended up not wearing one.

I liked the style and the Med was perfect, but the neck was uncomfortable (think choking) and I’d prefer to wear a normal bra so I kept one of the other three I ordered and returned this one.
