This is an extremely heavy, well made comforter. It is so heavy it was hard for me to carry it from the washer to the dryer. The outer surface has a true dark denim color, just like Levi jeans. Oh my goodness! This set is amazing! I wished I bought it sooner. I was hesitant about it because it says it’s microfiber. Well, it’s not the cheap microfiber. The quality is above all. The shams have buttons on the back of them and the throw pillows are nicely embroidered. Plus, as it states it’s oversized so finally a comfortable that doesn’t show are sheets on the sides. I thought it was going to have more white in it from the pictures but it’s mainly three tones of grey (the white is not a true white), cream, and two tones of browns. The comforter is wonderful. Second Woolrich comforter I have bought. First one years ago, and it’s still in great shape. This second one is wonderful. Soft and cozy. Very cozy. The only issue is the pillow sham ripped down the side when I tried to gently put a medium size pillow in one. I was really disappointed. I would buy the comforter and throw pillows all over again. I had been looking for a soft denim comforter set and finally found this 1 & I love it. It has a little bit of weight to it so it works like a very light weighted blanket. I used some light floral sheets to soften it up and a plaid to ground it. It looks fabulous all together.
