Description

Each Woodpeckers T-Square consist of a precisely machined, laser engraved, aluminum blade perfectly fitted to a solid, billet handle with support steps to prevent tipping. Both critical parts are fastened together with screws offset to create tensions between the blade and handle for mechanical soundness. The blade itself has precisely spaced 1mm holes machined every 1/16-inch and will fit both standard and mechanical pencils. Blade edges are formed at a 30 degree bevel and engraved with precise inch scale markings graduated to 1/32-inch. The beveled design reduces parallax and increases measuring and marking accuracy.

Well made, very accurate although pricey. I don't mind paying good money for good tools and good toys. As they say, "cry once buy once". Much better and more accurate than just using a typical square and trying to keep your pencil at the right place. The only caveat, although mostly from my shaky 72 yo hands, it's hard for me to use a mechanical pencil without breaking the fragile leads. Hi quality, accurate, durable, easy to read/use, made in the USA. I am very happy with this T square. I can recommend it without hesitation. It is a little costly, but I really feel I will have this the rest of my life. In this case I feel I got far more than what I paid for.     • Makes Precision Work Simple
If you are making cabinetry or furniture and pride yourself on precision work you owe it to yourself to try this t-square. Nothing could be easier or faster. You merely set the square flat against your reference edge and with your awl make a small pinprick (or with a sharpened pencil point make a mark) through one of the calibrated holes--set at 1/16-inch intervals. I also have the 32-inch version (if you prefer, there are also models using millimeters). These are not cheap, but they are sturdy, lifetime tools, made in the US and worth every dollar. ... show more

My new companion. I obsess about rulers and squares. This one is strong and has convenient holes for marking. It reads easily and with the beveled edges makes marking accurate. Well worth the cost. If I had purchased this first before the other 6 plus different brands, I would have saved even more than this costed. I can see the markings on this square more than most others.
