I love that there is a face to the ashes inside the urn. That’s what always bugged me about traditional urns. It was just ashes. This way there people know who they’re looking at.

The box itself is well made - no scratches on it. However the extremely cheap piece of acrylic (that’s supposed to be a substitute for glass!) was so scratched it was not usable! Consequently I had to have a piece of glass specifically cut to fit - incurring another expense. Its too bad the manufacturer could not have put real glass over the oval opening for a photo. 🙁 ... show more

the board on the bottom that you screw in after placing remains inside is a little flimsy. not strong enough to hold my dad. id have to flip it upside down if i decided to move him one day or his remains would fall out. looks great, but i thought it’d be stronger at the bottom.

Had to buy this for my mother to put my grandmother's ashes in. The urn we had broke and my mother was devastated. She wanted something that was beautiful and easy to place my grandmother in. My grandmother also had a great love of butterflies so it was fate we found it.
