    • Don't buy wood online. (Should have been obvious)
I ordered two pieces of purpleheart. One was very nice with a nice grain texture and a rich purple color. Another was not, hardly any purple color in it at all and completely different grain. Won't be using these two together.

    • Let sit out in the open a couple of days uv rays bring out the color
I used this piece as the centerpiece of my built in pantry cabinet countertop. Came ready to use out of the box. Was a little gray / brown color out of the box but after sitting in my shop a couple of days it purpled up real nice.

Low quality and color. Nowhere near image shown. Color is a "purplish" brown. Boards both have prominent knots showing. Will avoid these guys in the future.
