I’m an amateur lifetime DYI home remodeler. I’ve installed 9 custom shower doors in the past. This bathtub shower door is high quality very nice and, installed properly, will increase the beauty and value of any home. Having said that, this door install was complex, complicated and problem riddled. The single/fixed panel is awkward. The install instructions were vague and difficult to follow and omitted two measurement steps required to achieve proper installation. Thanks to U-Tube for their informative tutorial. Still, be prepared to use your critical thinking, skills, common sense and problem solving abilities if you plan to install this DYI. ... show more

My wife and I installed this together. Plan it out- watched videos on YouTube of how others installed it, which was my wife’s idea (thankfully she’s a smart cookie!). We were a bit worried since we’ve never installed glass doors before. Remember, it’s super heavy! It came perfectly packaged in a wooden crate- packed to perfection. We also installed Woodbridges toilet, which is in this picture. All of it came together nicely for this remodeled bath. BTW, we needed glass doors that sat on top of the tub, not a full shower unit. It was tricky to find, grateful we found what we needed. (So affordable too!) ... show more

    • Needed two men and an engineer.
I purchased the product thinking this would be an easy installation. The description is not conducive to what an installation entails. You WILL NEED two persons, a very good heck saw, electric if possible and a lot of patience. This is not something you take out of the box and screw in place. It takes measurements, fittings (we did four install and removal and reinstall) before we had the fit just right.     • One section is fixed and doesn't move
These shower doors are exactly the look we wanted. We didn't realize that one door is fixed and the other one opens and closes. This is kind of unique when it comes to installing with a tub. Makes it so you need to be inside the tub to start the shower, which we are OK with doing. The glass is thick and strong and the hardware is beautiful. Being a heavy item, the tracking was challenging. We expected the shipment to come on three different days only to find out, the contract cariier could not make the proposed delivery dates. Received them about a week later than anticpated with a 30 minute notice. This is a heavy crate and needs special handling. Once we finally got them , we loved them. ... show more

Excellent product heavy duty but I will say it took my husband 2 days to install bc he was getting frustrated he did half of the door one day and the second half the following day and he also had to watch on you tube the installation Instructions to get it perfect but ultimately he looks amazing and it’s solid and looks very expensive just pack your patience ... show more
