Fell in love with these boots. Have a black pair and bought the off-white color. Made so well for comfort, support and the right level of warmth. These boots are also sturdy and comfortable right out of the box. They have a little weight to them but not too heavy. They have the same retractable slip guards as some Canadian winter boots I own so I know they work well outside on wintry surfaces. Be careful to retract the outdoor slip guards when inside before walking on slick hard surfaces like tile, which can be slippery without anything to grip, or on wood floors that could be scratched. Stylish with skirts or pants with the tops up or folded down to see the shearling interior. Side zipper for easy off and on. Helpful to use a leather protector on the leather uppers if you plan on getting them more than slightly wet like most leather boots. Level of water resistance depends on how powerful a protector you use, of course, but it seems the main idea is to keep the leather in good condition. I don’t think they are made waterproof by inner liners like many boots, especially hikers, so I just don’t slog through a lot of deep, wet, slushy snow or deep puddles with them despite the anti-slip winter soles. These were shipped to me directly from the company in the London, GB area. Shoes I bought many times from this company shipped overnight internationally by FedEx to the greater NYC, US area! Amazingly quick shipping! ✈️ Very helpful staff and great customer service too. I love to look for sales or discounts when I can but the quality of these is definitely worth the full price!

Product is as shown but I had to return them. I was so excited to get these boots as they looked to be warm and the retractable spikes seemed like it would be perfect for walking in snow and ice. I have wide feet and thick calves. Did not occur to me I might have trouble zipping up a short boot as I haven't before. I was easily able to get my feet into the boot but was not able to get the zipper all the way up. Plus, once they were on, they looked pretty chunky.

These boots are well designed and constructed, extremely comfortable, have red ice cleats which can be brought down using the accompanying tool and are easy on and off with the side zippers. They are very attractive, even with their functionality. That I got them on sale was a definite bonus but I would have purchased regardless. The catalogue that accompanied my order opened my world to a line of shoes made by this company! I will surely purchase!

OK, I know Oprah said to buy these...so I did...way above my price range but all the hype got to me! They are made of beautiful leather and are quite substantial. I was, however, expecting MUCH more as far as comfort - they are heavier and stiffer than I'd expected, based on all the hype. Returned and was secretly relieved that they didn't work out because they are too pricey for my needs - I'd be terrified of the first scratch or salt stain!

Why do not include women who have larger feet. Talking about those of us who have 12, 12 and 1/2 and 13 size ft. And the wide sizes. I love these boots but it almost seems impossible to find good boots in my size.

These are nice snow boots. Quality leather, comfortable, well made. The shearling doesn’t look or feel real. It may be, but it does not seem to be. For such expensive boots, I think the shearling should be described as faux if it is not real.
